  • Chronicles of Self Made Teen Entrepenuers

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you for supporting our project. We have started learning how to make tshirts , buttons and mugs for with our Cameo. We have a trainer that knows how to use the machine, He has also taught us how to use the computer to search imagines to transfer on the items. This has been a huge success.

Several students have decided to earn enough money to purchase their own machine.

Some of the students say that this is their summer employment. What a game changer. I can not express how having this machine has changed the perspective of many of my young people.”

  • Essentially Ours

    Funded Mar 28, 2018

We would like to thank you for the Nike Women's legend long sleeve Poly tops and compression pants. Some of the sizes were not available so we purchased replacement items just to let you know. These items are useful and helpful.

We were able to get running shoes, several cases of water, portfolios and retractable ball point pens. Thank you so very much for your generous donations. We will not only end our season strong but we will begin our school year equipped with items we really need. Again thank you for the best days ever!”

  • Needed...Bags and Socks Please

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Please take time to look at our photos. My students were not only surprised but they were feeling so special when they went to the office and picked up the boxes. The flag football and varsity and junior varsity football players really appreciate the over the calf socks, mouth guards and tape. Our student trainers in training find the first aid kits useful and informative.

It is with sincere appreciation that we say thank you for funding our project. The teams, managers and trainers said "Wow people really do care!"”

  • Active Learning

    Funded Mar 15, 2018

We really can not thank you enough for funding our project. My students were floored when they saw a PlayStation 4 being lifted out of the box. Facial expressions were worth one thousand words.

To date, this has been the best motivator ever. Students are completing their goal of being on the reading program. Ultimately, the increased time will move them to a higher reading level. We all win!

Thank you for your care and concern again. This was definitely an out of the box idea, however the positive result of reading is ever increasing in the lives of these students.”

  • Made the Team... Need the Basics

    Funded Jan 29, 2018

Thanks for helping us. Your generosity fully funded our project. We were able to give a football player cleats and gloves. This player played last season with holes in the bottom of his cleats. His life and I'm sure his performance on the field will forever be changed.

One of our cheerleaders suffered a tragic loss. We just wanted to support her and keep her activities in place. She cried when she received her cheer shoes. The impact your generosity has created is undeniable. Thank you again for making a positive impact in the lives of students and teachers .”

  • Racing & Reading

    Funded Jan 20, 2018

Thank you for supporting our project. This school year has been a traumatic one. The students have used the remote control cars to destress. After Hurricane Irma , our community suffered great loss. The students have a weekly goal to meet in reading on the computer. Once the goal is met, they are allowed to move around and engage in intense competition, all in fun, with their classmates.

They literally adore the headphones. Thank you for every item. These items have motivated, impressed and simply made a positive impact on my students reading skills.”

  • JV Lady Spartans Need an Assist

    Funded Jan 20, 2018

I am so happy to announce that our Lady Spartan girls basketball team won the district championship game. Thanks to your generous donations our student athletes morale was off the chart. They played as a coeisive unit.

They have moved on to flag football and wanted you to see just how far your donations have helped.

Again, thank you for the support both financially and emotionally. Girl power is alive and strong at our school. The flag football team has a desire to repeat their title of district champs again this year.”

  • Cheer and Dance Essentials Needed

    Funded Feb 21, 2018

These energetic, dynamic student athletes are the best. They work on team building as well as their skills in the classroom. They appreciate the items and that you for your generous donations.

They are now transitioning from basketball to girls flag football and track and field. Many have reported that they better about themselves. They have learned that being a part of the cheer team comes with many challenges. They have learned to work together and focus on their academics. Thanks again for helping us in more ways than one.”

  • Basketball and Football Resources

    Funded Jan 23, 2018

My students are using the footballs for both boys football practice and girls flag football practice. The student that received the Nike Men's Sportwear ClubFleece full zip white hoodie is so appreciative and estactic having his own brand new jacket. We tease him now because he doesn't want to take his jacket off.

The other student athletes are extremely happy to know that you have given generously to fund this project to help all of our teams. On behalf of myself, the coaches and the staff thank you for your generous support.”

Well I'm happy to report that both our girls basketball and boys basketball teams are district champs. They are ecstatic! The season is still alive for both teams. Needless to say but your generous donations totally boosted both teams morale.

Please look at the photographs because they speak volumes. Our young student athletes both male and female shout thank you for believing in them. They are both headed to the state playoffs suited for success. Please know that you have made a positive impact on these youngsters lives!!!”

My high school reading students are majority African American and Hispanic females and males. Several students are English Language Learners (ELL), Exceptional Education students (SPeD) or receiving intensive instruction in reading and math. Several have been retained previously or because they have not achieved a passing score on the Florida State Achievement Test (FSA). This is a South Florida Title 1 school. The majority of students are receiving free or reduced lunch. A large percentage of the students live at or below the poverty level. Surprisingly, several of my students do not know their Dads, or one of their parents are deceased or incarcerated. Despite the odds, they are eager to learn and be successful. Please consider helping my students in the critical area of reading and language arts. They are in need of the simplest school supplies.
