  • Back to School

    Funded Aug 6, 2024

I hope this message finds you well and in good health. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for funding my "Back to School" project at the beginning of this school year. Thanks to your support, we have successfully completed the Fall semester and are now gearing up for the 2025 Spring semester.

Your contributions allowed me to effectively set up my classroom and replenish essential supplies. I have attached photos showcasing the incredible projects and learning experiences that my 7th-grade science students have engaged in throughout their first semester. As we transition into the new year, I am excited that my students will continue to benefit from your generous support.

Thank you once again for your kindness and commitment to our students' education.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Perez

  • Back to School With Interactive Notebooks

    Funded Jul 12, 2023

Thank you so much for contributing to my Back to School project. The end of Fall semester is quickly approaching and I wanted to take the time to let you that your contribution was greatly appreciated by my students and I.

Every student was given a composition notebook in August. In these notebooks, they modeled scientific concepts, took notes, and noted observations during our labs. Additionally, items such as whiteboard markers were used during review days and helped class be more engaging as students were able to work through problems on whiteboards. The Clorox wipes have continued to help maintain a clean class environment. Lastly, the play-doh was a big hit and was used almost weekly by my students. 7th grade science has a focus on atom modeling and chemical reactions - I attached photos of the play-doh in action.

Once again, your contribution is greatly appreciated. Attached are some photos of how your contributions are being used.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Perez

  • Back to School with Interactive Student Notebooks

    Funded Aug 20, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my most recent project which included items such as pencils, tape, glue, markers, and enough composition notebooks for each student. My students and I have truly appreciated the materials and use them each day in science class!

Through the help of your donation, each student has been able to set up an interactive science notebook and has access to basic class materials that the school cannot provide. Each student received a notebook in September has been able to complete scientific observations, vocabulary, and daily warm ups in it. Interactive notebooks allow students to track learning over time and teaches them valuable organization skills. My students were delighted to hear that they would receive a notebook with out having to go out and buy one on their own.

    Thank you once again.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Perez

  • Whiteboards for Increasing Learning and Participation in the Classroom

    Funded Feb 4, 2022

Thank you once again for donating to my classroom project, "Whiteboards for Increasing Learning and Participation in the Classroom." My students were ecstatic when I first told them that they would be receiving individual whiteboards to use in the classroom and were even more ecstatic when they arrived.

The whiteboards, makers, and erasers were used for various team building exercises, review games, and for drawing out initial scientific models in both Science and Health classes. Students are always excited when they get to use whiteboards, and this was no different.

Overall, this project increased engagement in my middle school classroom and will continue doing so for years to come.”

    With gratitude,

Through the help of your donation, each student is able to have access to scissors, glue, and highlighters during class. Additionally, each student received a notebook in order to complete scientific observations, vocabulary, and daily warm ups in. My students were delighted to hear that they would receive a notebook with out having to go out and buy one on their own.

  • Safe Classroom Environment

    Funded Sep 21, 2021

Thank you for your donation to my classroom project- Safe Classroom Environment. With this donation, you were able to provide my students with anti-bacterial wipes, hand sanitizer, masks, and cleaning supplies. These supplies are used by my students everyday and the materials have allowed them to feel safe in the classroom. Although our district provides us with hand sanitizer, my students often complain that it leaves their hands feeling sticky and does not smell very pleasant. They now rave that I am one of their only teachers with "good smelling" sanitizer, which encourages them to use it often. Your anti-bacterial wipes are used to clean shared supplies such as markers, glue sticks, and colored pencils between uses. My students and I really appreciate the donation!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Perez
