I teach a group of Kindergarten students; the majority of them come from low-income families, which means many of them deal with challenges at home. One of the challenges is that these students are limited to resources at home, which is why it is important to provide them with developmentally appropriate materials in their school environment. The students in my classroom are extremely hard working and come to school each and every day eager to learn and succeed. I strive to provide my students with a welcoming and comfortable learning environment filled with endless opportunities to explore, create, and learn in many ways.
