Funded Apr 28, 2021During such an eventful time when students received educational support at home, in school, or on a hybrid model, the use of technology was vital. As we know, students today are equipped with the technological knowledge to support learning from a hands-on and interactive perspective. In using the strength of students and bridging their understanding with technology, students were able to explore content through the use of multimedia programs and stimulating videos.
For students, this form of learning empowered them to use everything that they know about technology to explore virtual content to boost understanding. Furthermore, being provided an abundant supply of tablets ensured that each student had a device to explore content in an authentic manner. Students also engage with programs that match their individualistic skill set.
In having these resources, students were able to make progress effectively and efficiently.”

Back to Basics: Supply Drive
Funded Sep 10, 2020Thank you very much for taking the time to donate resources to our students which helped them to connect to their classrooms with high engagement and excitement. In each classroom, students were able to use the various supplies to complete unit assignments independently, projects with so much creativity, and to collaborate with their peers both remotely and in-person.
When students received the resources, they were more than touched that they would be able to dive into learning without thinking about whether they had the supplies that they would need to be successful. They didn't know where to begin, but they were excited to get started.
To continue on with the wonderful resources provided, students will continue to have the opportunities and materials that will elevate their identities, personal skills, intellect, and criticality of the world around them. As this year was met with so many challenges, thank you for contributing to our student's success now and for many years to come.”

Funded Oct 24, 2019This year has pushed us all in a new direction of the way educators teach and how students learn. As we closed the school year online, many of the resources that you have provided not only helped students prior to remote learning but as they moved into this new platform. All the photos that you see are prior to us leaving the physical school building. However, as we had the materials within the classroom I was able to provide to students with resources so that it could be used in their individual homes. Thank you all for providing these resources, especially as it helped to ensure that students had the tools to be successful. You have truly invested my students' education.”

The Hands-on Way to Learning
Funded Dec 20, 2018Thank you very much for the gratitude that you have shown my students. In providing them with these engaging tablets, students are able to collaboratively build their research skills, all while developing their social skills. Throughout this process, my students have developed their communication skills as well. Within these few months, my students have shown their ability to interact with one another on a more personal level. I have found that in utilizing these resources throughout the day, have provided my students with the opportunity to deal with sharing and collaborating with students with whom they normal tend to stay away from in the past. These tablets have further bridge the gap between academic and social skills and have given my students the resource to connect to academic content they find engaging and interesting. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support.”
