  • Cozy Reading Nook

    Funded Apr 12, 2025

I am grateful for the contribution to help make my classroom. We are excited to have an area for our students to enhance our love for reading. We also love sparkles so those will help us create a calm environment.

We appreciate the help to support our classroom. My classroom continues to grow and evolve with your help.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Clemenson

  • Carpet Circles

    Funded May 18, 2023

Now that we are a month into school, I am happy to report the carpet circles have been a hit! My students have a visual of where to sit on the floor and they are practicing for kindergarten. I have used the cushion circles for my library area so they have a comfortable spot to read a book.

I am always grateful for the support others have provided for my classroom. I have utilized the materials I have received, and I am so thankful to have the materials. It is one more added bonus I wouldn't have thought to ask for had it not been for donorschoose and individuals who have helped by donating.

Once again thank you for your contribution.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Clemenson

  • Magnetic Board for Preschoolers

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

The magnet board has been a new favorite edition to our classroom. I have used it to put sorting activities for colors during play. My students love drawing on the board and using it for magnetic toys. I am now looking for more STEM activities for my students to use during play activity.

The magnetic board is now a staple in our classroom. It provides our classroom with an extra room divider for cutting off the room and the opportunity for group work as well. It has multiple functions

Thank you for supporting our classroom!”

  • Math Table Top Activities

    Funded Dec 24, 2021

I have started using my math activities in my teaching and during play. The students love using the pegs to practice matching quantities with a number. The tactile numbers have given the students the idea of what it feels like to trace with their finger. I've also used the tactile number to quantity match when working with students. These materials have provided a fresh take on learning and gives us more resources to help learn. My students have enjoyed helping opening the boxes to explore the items.

Thank you for helping support my project.”

  • Literacy Skills

    Funded May 20, 2021

Thank you once again for helping my classroom. Right now with teaching, things feel a little chaotic. However, with the support of these materials, my classroom only grows strong.

My students enjoy different resources for learning. This year we are focusing more on literacy and rhyming activities are helpful since that has been consistently hard for my students to learn.

As we continue the year, I am excited to find different ways to incorporate the materials into my teaching. Once again Thank you for your contribution.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Clemenson

  • Cube Chairs for Social Distancing

    Funded Sep 17, 2020

Thank you once again for donating to my project. The cube chairs are amazing! They may not solve all of our social distancing problems in preschool but they sure do help. My students love sitting in them. The chairs provide support for their little bodies and give them ease with sitting in group.

The chairs are fun colors, and the kids have also used them to work on colors throughout the room and find shapes (Today it was the square on the side of the chair). These cube chairs are a great addition to my classroom. Once again thank you for donating to my classroom.”

  • Language and Literacy Skills in Preschool

    Funded Dec 10, 2019

The new kits have been exciting to use in our classroom. We use the story telling puppets just about every day in music. My morning class love to sing and interact with the puppets. It has made a huge difference in participation during music.

The students also love to play hide and seek with the tactile letters, this has helped build their letter recognition skills.

One of the nice perk of having these materials is being able to pull out a kit when I don't have an activity related to the theme. My students love the hands on materials and are engaged in the activity. They are excited to learn and I see an increase in their literacy skills, which has been a goal of mine this year.

Once again thank you for your donations and helping my classroom grown in our learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Clemenson

  • Learning Resources

    Funded Nov 6, 2017

Thank you again for your support of my classroom. My students were very excited to open the new learning resources and try out the new kits. They have been interested in using the different kits in our group activities. We have used the penguin counters in multiple ways for counting, comparing amounts, and patterning.

The different activities have helped aid in my teaching and have given them manipulative to hold, instead of just looking at a picture. I am very grateful for the donations and to have resources to create an engaging environment for my students to learn.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Clemenson

  • Literacy in Preschool

    Funded Jan 17, 2019

Once again I would like to thank the donors of this project, I have seen an increase interest in learning the letters and letter sounds while using these activities. My students have been excited to try the different games to play, there is an excitement about using a new kit.

The favorite kit so far has been the Alphabet Learning Locks. Not only are my students learning the letters, they are also using their fine motor skills to put the key into the lock. I have also seen the peers helping each other look for the letter to the lock, it has been a great way to increase social skills as well.

My goal to increase Literacy skills in my classroom has been impacted positively since receiving the materials in this project. My students love and are excited during our literacy activities in small group. I am excited to continue our learning and using the literacy activities through the school year.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Clemenson

My students are between the ages of 3 to 5 years. Their little bodies are not made for sitting in a chair for long periods of time. We explore through play and by hands-on experiences. It is hard to sit and listen, we need lots of visuals. Not only do we need lots of visuals, we need different visuals to keep things interesting.
