Building Great Minds!
Funded Aug 4, 2022My students were very excited when they heard about our class project getting fully funded. They were eager to see what materials were donated to our classroom! They smiled and were in awe of what items and materials were donated. They had opportunities to use the materials during indoor recess, during a rainy day, during Center Time, and when they finished their work early. It was interesting to see what they were able to build and create using the materials.
It was a wonderful feeling and I was very proud to see students excited and eager to learn, create, build, collaborate, and use their imaginations with all the materials! This would not have been possible if it was not for your generous donations! I appreciate your interest in our classroom and am beyond thankful for your support! Thank you!”
With gratitude,
Ms. N.

Funded May 16, 2019I want to thank you so much for donating to "The Best Books and Seats for Classroom Libraries" Project.
My students were very excited and surprised when they opened the boxes from Lake- shore Learning and discovered wonderful Soft Seats were donated to our classroom. They also were happy about the awesome books they received from Scholastic. They couldn't wait to use all the items that they opened on the first day they were able to see it.
My students look forward to Read to Self time when they are able to use the Soft Seats and when they get to select books from our class library now. They love the various books that were donated through Scholastic. They use the materials when they finish their work early and they are so excited about reading! They even ask to borrow the books when they select books for their Book Bags that go home. They are more enthusiastic about reading and I'm so appreciative of how my students are enjoying reading time.
All this has been made possible by all your generous and kind donations! My students and I are extremely grateful to all of you! Thank you for taking an interest in our classroom!”

Funded Oct 2, 2018Thank you to our awesome donors for our STEM materials! My students and I are very grateful to have the variety of STEM materials for our classroom. We use it for morning bin time, math, science, and center time.
My students were so excited when they got to see all of the materials that were donated. They were smiling, cheering, and feeling happy when they saw each item being opened.
The project and materials mean a lot to our class. My students will continue to explore, build, discuss, use teamwork, and learn through play using all the materials. The students are using their creative imaginations, problem-solving, discussing, and working in a team. There's a lot of laughter, giggles, and happiness throughout morning bin time and center time. They are very engaged and have the opportunities to be more hands-on during math time. They love using the Science Magnifiers to observe what we are learning in Science.
We are planning to do a future STEM Challenge using the read aloud, The Three Little Pigs. The students will use the Magna-Tiles, Lego Brick Set, and materials to build a house to protect each pig from the Big Bad Wolf in the story, The Three Little Pigs. The students and I are also looking forward to using the Math Balances to compare objects during math time. We are excited about learning the Life Cycle of a Butterfly and using the Butterfly Kit that was donated. They are looking forward to using the Money Cash Register to help them learn the value of money during math time.
We are thankful for our new Math Balances, Number Splat Mats, Number 100 Boards, Science Magnifiers, Butterfly Kit, Cash Register, Number Bonds, and various STEM materials! It is truly a blessing to have these additional items for our classroom. This project has also inspired me to look for more STEM Projects to challenge my students and to allow them to continue to use the STEM materials. This means a lot to my students and I! We are so grateful for your support in our classroom! Thank you so much!”
