    Thank you so much for your donations. We are so lucky to have community leaders, like yourselves, supporting our wonderful chorus program.

    Now that I have the conductor's chair, I can teach music from the podium where all students can see me. Even some of my students like using the conductor's chair to lead their peers.

    The students were very excited to receive the materials. Unfortunately, the company we ordered from discontinued the choir mics we need to use the mic stands and chords. Donor's choose did give us a gift card to order the mics elsewhere.

  • Can You Hear Me Now?...Good!

    Thank you so much for your wonderful contribution to the Eddie White Middle Academy Chorus. The students were so excited to finally receive microphone cords to use during performances. The students loved using the microphones during our Spring Concert because the audience could hear all the harmonies and their beautiful voices.

    When we first received the notification of new microphones, the students were very excited. Sounds has always been an issue for our performances and the microphone cords change the sound of the choir. Thank you again for your donation.”

  • Choral Students Need Paper Too!

    Thank you so much for your contribution. Having paper in the classroom has allowed my students to take music home and practice, complete assignments in class, save their notebook paper. When the students first saw the paper, they were very excited. The students know that I purchase most materials for the class or the students donate paper.

    Now that we have paper, students are practicing at home and coming to class better prepared. This donation means the world to me and my students. Since the students are in a Title 1 District, resources are very hard to come by. The students know how important paper is in the classroom and are extremely happy that someone thought to donate these materials to us.

    The future of the WolfPack Chorus looks very bright. Now that we have paper, I can provide more copies of music so students can learn songs from different genres and languages. I can also have more members join the chorus. Thank you again for your support and blessing.”

Our school is in Hampton, GA which is about 30 minutes south of Downtown Atlanta. My students are in a Title 1 District (low income-high needs community) where support and supplies are limited. Despite challenges, my students work really hard and utilize chorus as a positive outlet. This is the first time many of my students have performed in an ensemble, but the students quickly learn music and are very talented. After many long after-school and weekend rehearsals, my chorus students received a Superior Rating at Large Group Performance Evaluation. My students are always looking for ways to perform within the community and improve their musicality.
