My students are third graders. Our classroom theme will be "The Rainforest". Each week two students will be chosen as the King & Queen of the Jungle. 3rd graders are eager to please, and they are at a critical age. Research has shown that by the time a child reaches 4th grade they have a pretty good idea of the things they are interested in and if they don't feel like they are good at something they stop trying it after 3rd grade. If I can instill in them a LOVE of science, I know they would be much better off as adults. We are a public school in Louisiana, and we are fortunate just to have you consider us for this project. Thank you in advance and I hope to hear from you soon.
