  • Teacher Accessibility and Flexibility

    Funded May 11, 2020

The tablet device has allowed me to easily and quickly interact with my students! During our daily schedule I can use the tablet to join my session simultaneously and specifically allow one device to interact with the students and the other device for lesson presentation. This has allowed the students to become more interactive during our remote lessons and more engaged!

In the classroom, the tablet allows me to collect data with ease! Whether it is a regular school year or a hybrid school year, data collection is crucial to better assist the students strive towards their goals!

Additionally I now do not need the use of a clipboard, paper, or pencil for data collection or form completion. The unnecessary spread of germs is limited now due to the use of electronic equipment!

Thank you for all of the donations that allowed me to get the device.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. N

    Funded Nov 4, 2018

As we experience the two new editiona to our room, we have truly noticed how the table and couch have impacted our class tremendously. The couch has especially has become the center of attention within our flexible seating environment. The flexibility of the rolling table allows the students to engage in additional movement for our physical education goals. It has provided us with the necessary space to engage in community circles and publishing parties! The two additions to our room has boosted our in class community and we have become hooked to the benefits of flexible seating!”

  • Teaching with Tablets!

    Funded Sep 13, 2018

It has been an AMAZING start to the school year thanks to your generous donations! We have been able to use the tablets across the subjects. We've been using fun apps to practice multiplication facts, Myon to find new and engaging books, and gain access to plenty of kid friendly resources for research! These tablets have allowed the students to enrich their learning in class, since many of our students don't have Internet or technology access at home. The best part about having these tablets is that they have made math workshop exciting There isn't a day that passes where my students ask "Ms. Nasseif are we using the tablets today!??* Thanks to you, I am able to smile and help my students embrace their love for learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. N
