My students are working hard each day to become better readers and mathematicians! They have access to some amazing online programs generously provided by our school, but we, unfortunately, don't have enough computers for each student to have adequate practice. With these laptops, my students will have access to a great amount of online curriculum and learning programs throughout the school day. These programs help support their learning. Integrating this new technology into my daily lessons will be a great tool in engaging students to learn. Through these laptops, students will be able to enhance their reading and math skills via online interactive programs such as iReady, Accelerated Reader (A.R.), Lexia, Kahoot, Starfall and Epic. Using technology is fun for students. It motivates them to learn and keeps them engaged. With this new technology in our classroom, the learning gains and possibilities for my students will be endless!
