  • Scholastic News and Thinking Spaces for All!

    Funded Nov 15, 2024

Thank you very much for your contributions to this project. Our curious youngest students absolutely love when their Scholastic News articles arrive. They love looking at the pictures and reading the stories together. They also love talking about what they see and get excited to share with their families.

Not only that but the addition of some new, exciting, and useful items to our thinking spaces has been a great success. Students of all ages have truly enjoyed finding ways to express themselves with the Mr. Pineapple head doll. It also helps in allowing for students to share their feelings in a non-verbal way if words aren't readily available. The bendy axolotls are a fave of many students providing a perfect fidget to recenter their thoughts and help them get back to learning. We can't thank you enough for helping to provide these items to students.”

  • Scholastic News for All!

    Funded Sep 30, 2024

Thank you so very much for your contributions to this project. Students have absolutely loved getting their hands on these amazing scholastic news resources. Students in science class are using the articles in the Science News to build their evidence based writing skills. All students are engaging in practicing their oral reading skills and comprehension regardless of their reading level since they have access to a variety of levels of scholastic news all around the same topic. Not only that but students love learning about current events and participating in conversations around their learning as well as looking into other resources to learn more. Without your help this wouldn't be possible.”

  • Creative Tools Needed To Support Creative Minds

    Funded Sep 3, 2024

Thank you very much for your generous contributions to this project. We are already creating ideas for items to design such as specialized end of your labels for the end of year celebration as well as items to create for bulletin boards to bring them to life. The creative possibilities are endless and we can't wait to get to creating fun materials, tools, resources, and decor to really amp up the school year in a new way. Not only that, but with the Cricut and vinyl it came with, we can create new and easily read labels for materials and resources around the room. Having a well structured and organized room makes a massive difference and students thrive in well organized classrooms.”

  • Kicking Off The Year On The Right Foot #2

    Funded Sep 13, 2024

Thank you very much for your donations towards this project. We have already been putting all these materials to good use on a daily basis. Students recently used the testing dividers for better privacy during a math quiz and they truly appreciated having new privacy dividers versus our old ones which were worn, marked up, or even had holes. Students are also loving the brand new math games and are having a blast playing them during math stations. These are a great resource to get kids practicing learned skills, presenting new challenges, aNnd making math time fun. We truly appreciate having these items in class and we have you to thank for that.”

  • Kicking Off the School Year on the Right Foot

    Funded May 24, 2024

Thank you very much for helping us to get the year started with some of our most essential items. Students use their folder every day during math, reading, and writing. Students also now have plenty of pencils to last us for a very long time. We use the expo markers daily during our math warm ups, in stations, and any time we need to jot down a quick idea. Our new chalk markers work wonders in bringing our monthly calendar to life and in creating a neat and organized class schedule board. Additionally, we can now create bright and colorful anchor charts with our new markers. Thank you very much for help us to start the year off strong with all these incredible resources.”

  • Desperately Seeking New Communal Learning Space

    Funded Apr 18, 2024

Thank you so very much for your contributions. The new classroom rug is absolutely beautiful, bright, clean, and fits our learning space perfectly. The students love sitting on the soft rug and love the design and pattern. They feel it adds a soothing sense to the class. The new vacuum is incredible. We vacuum the new rug regularly and students feel that the rug space is a location where they can sit, learn, work, and play without concern for cleanliness. We truly appreciate your contributions and providing us with a much need new and clean communal learning space.”

  • Hard Working Minds Need Brain Food

    Funded Aug 17, 2024

Thank you so very much for donating towards this project. Our students eat lunch later in the day and often feel hungry mid morning. It is hard to concentrate on school work when your stomach is growling. Thanks to your contributions, we have a variety of healthy snacks on hand for students who may have forgotten theirs or for those who aren't able to bring any. These snacks provide that much needed boost to the students learning day to keep away those growling bellies but also to sustain their minds as they flex their learning muscles. Thank you for making this project possible and support our students.”

    Funded Aug 28, 2024

Thank you very much for making this project a reality. It has been great to start the year off with some of those most essential materials students use on a daily basis. We now have well organized class material pouches for each student to easily access any material they need during the day. Not only that but the notebooks are a go to resource during math class. Students truly have loved knowing that all their essential learning tools and needs have been met since day one of school. This is truly in thanks to you and your contributions. We truly are grateful.”

  • Ending the Year in Style

    Funded May 9, 2024

Thank you all so very much for making our end of year celebration a success. Our students were so excited to receive their backpacks filled with snacks, their special water bottle, and more. Not only that but they absolutely loved making tie dye shirts. The final results of their shirts turned out beautifully bright and colorful. Not only that, but every student received beautiful certificates of completion inside their special envelopes which adds the perfect official touch. It is due to your help and generosity that we were able to end our year in style. Thank you so very much for that.”

  • Keeping Up Great Learning with Special Tools

    Funded Dec 4, 2023

Thank you very much for your contributions to our project. We use the clorox wipes every day to clean off our desks and commonly used spaces like our circle table and u-table. We have been really fortunate this year that many of our students are staying healthy and we feel the level of care we take to keep a clean germ free classroom is helping for sure. We also use the expo spray and cleaning materials daily to ensure a clean class board for learning. Lastly, the new fidgets have been pivotal in adding the much needed final touches to our thinking space in class which students use to help mitigate their feelings and feel prepared to get back to work.”

Every child deserves the best opportunity to learn and grow. As educators, we are not just educating a child for the time they are in the classroom. We are educating them so that they have the foundation needed to continue to grow and be successful as adults within our greater community. The future of our world depends on the young bright minds that enter our doors each day and those minds need access to a variety of materials to succeed. It is my hope that through the generosity of the community at large, I will be able to provide whatever materials and technology are needed to allow my students the best chance at a fulfilling and successful future.
