• Coffee Fundraising

  Thank you so much for supporting our classroom! When the supplies came from the project, my students were anxious to get everything open. The were unbelievely excitied about the espresso machine, coffee pods, and mugs. This will allow my students to have real, hands on experiences dealing in costumer service, money management and job skills. My students will now be able maintain, sell and manage money from the sales of the products at school in the morning to teachers and parents for less than the chain coffee stores.”

• iPad for the Pro

  Funded Nov 23, 2020

  The new iPad pro will help me do a better job at record keeping. My biggest needs have been taking notes at meetings, updating my calendar, student assignments on the google classroom, jotting down notes during observations, recording lessons for professional development and having a list of action items/to do list that I can easily see so we don't forget something. In addition, the ability to record a lesson for coaching/reflection purposes makes the iPad as a one stop shop in terms of what I need to carry with me. I am learning to incorporate efficiency apps into my daily routine and the multi-platform that becomes available with this device.”

  The new MacBook Pro will help me do a better job at record keeping. My biggest needs have been taking notes at meetings, updating my calendar, student assignments on the google classroom, jotting down notes during observations, recording lessons for professional development and having a list of action items/to do list that I can easily see so we don't forget something. In addition, the ability to record a lesson for coaching/reflection purposes makes the MacBook Pro as a one stop shop in terms of what I need to carry with me. I am learning to incorporate efficiency apps into my daily routine and the multi-platform that becomes available with this device. I am very humbled and thankful that this project was fully funded.”

  I cannot thank you enough for helping me get iPads, iPad covers, headphones, and speaker in my students' hands! The new addition of iPads made it possible for my students to have an opportunity to spend some learning time on an iPad each day. They especially love being able to read independently on the iPads and the reading materials are endless. This new tool in our classroom is so awesome and my students love using it! The most exciting part of this project is that the students are excited to learn! There are also some students who are not exposed to iPads at home, and they are the ones who are most touched and pleased with this new tool in the classroom. These students get to experience learning in a new way.
