Having a cubby gives the students a sense of belonging. They will have a small place to call their own. Having their own cubby encourages students to create artwork. Students love to save their work to take home and show their parents. It will also help them to be responsible of their belongings. Just by having a space of their own fills them with pride. Parents also look forward to checking their child’s cubby to see what work their child has created for them to display at home or work. Who would think that a small box can create a lifetime of memories.
