Hola a todos! As a fourth year teacher and new teacher in Manhattan, I am eager to meet my second grade class! Our school serves high need students of diverse, mostly Latino backgrounds in Washington Heights, Manhattan. Our students are passionate learners who build to achieve advanced biliteracy in Spanish and English through a project based approach called Expeditionary Learning. As a newer school in the most highly crowded district, we desperately need technology to maximize our learning and time in the classroom. Focusing on development of character and meaningful connections between language, content, and our local and family histories, we will be very busy and thank YOU for your dedication to our futures!
