Sew in Love With My K-12 Kids
Funded Nov 29, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donation of new supplies and materials for my high school art room. The students are enjoying these projects so much, as well as the little ones who will receive these gifts.
I have never seen so much excitement by all students as much as I have with the wool and the punch needles. Watching the wool transform into figurines right before their eyes was truly magical! I am having to order additional wool and needles simply because of the large request. "Can I make another one?" tends to be the daily question in my art room this week.”

Funded Oct 25, 2021Thank you for the recent cutting tools, supplies and mats. We have been putting them to use. Our first project was creating cut cardboard cut out mask. Students we asked to research the history and art techniques from various cultures.
Our second project was the use of linocutting to make prints. Without your generous donations for new cutting tools we wouldn't have been able to go forward with these new projects.
As you can tell in the photos 100% of the class was on task and highly motivated. I had many tell me this was by far their favorite project. Thank you again for making this happen for my students.”

Chill'n with Gelli Plates
Funded Jul 20, 2021Thank you so much for the awesome printmaking supplies. I haven't yet had my students use them but trust me they are anxiously awaiting to try them. I have to spend the first couple weeks of school going over the basic steps, procedure and teaching elements of art along with principles of design. Once those have been established we will jump right into printmaking.
The Gelli plates and brayers will be used for many years to come. Without your help I wouldn't have been able to get these types of tools into my student's hands.
I can't wait to post pictures and share with you some of their printmaking masterpieces. Thanks again for your generosity!”

Funded Aug 6, 2021Thank you for supplying us with various coloring supplies. I now have more than enough to provide each student their own supplies. Making cleaning and disinfecting so much easier. As COVID19 continues to disrupt in person learning as students get quarantined, I now have enough supplies to send home with them.
Student learning and creativity doesn't have to stop, due to the lack of supplies available at home. This wouldn't have been possible without your generous donations.
Thank you for supplying my students basic art needs.”

Funded Jun 25, 2021Thank you for your generous donation to help me organize my elementary art room as well as my middle and high school art room. As the weeks have progressed COVID 19 continues to disrupt in person learning. My school is still in session, but some of my students have already been quarantined. This where your donations have come in handy.
Thanks to your help, both of my rooms are now organized and everything is labeled making it easier for students to find what they need and take supplies home in the event they need to.
I appreciate your generosity more than you could ever know and so do my students. Thank you for blessing us.”

Scratch That!
Funded Feb 16, 2021Thank you for the scratch-off papers and tools that you provided my high school art classes. I was actually shocked how excited the "big kids" got when I unboxed them. I had originally asked for these supplies when I had a lot of students out due to being quarantined. I work for a Title 1 school, so having supplies at home is an issue for majority of my students. This was originally going to be a back up assignment for the students that had to stay home.
Luckily as the year progressed, our COVID classes slowed and majority of my students were in class every day. So as a reward the last week of school I focused on one day fun projects that everyone could enjoy regardless of their skill level.
The high school students were ecstatic to use the scratch-off papers. I guess it reminded them of their younger years. I just want you to know how much joy it brought them.”

There's No Place Like Art!
Funded Aug 11, 2020Thank you for the art supplies! My students were very excited to see all of our new supplies when they arrived. Many were speechless and shocked that strangers would actually donate money for art supplies that they could use and take home with for virtual days.
Words can not express how appreciate they were. Unfortunately, many supplies never made it back to the classroom but as we are currently experience school closure due to weather, it's nice to know that they at least have some materials to use at home at this time.”

Funded Apr 27, 2020Thank you for your generous donation that allowed my school district to purchase a classroom printer and ink for the art room. I have the pleasure of teaching K-12 art for two rural consolidated schools. Being some distance from a printer is challenging for me.
Our students were so excited when our printer was hooked up last week. They have been accustomed to having to wait until the next day if they need anything printed. As I have back to back classes and can't leave the classroom to go down to the office to pick something off of the printer. All of my printing must be done before or after school. Also, having the capability to print in color has never been an option! I work for a Title 1 school and we are on a very tight budget.
Some of the students have already enjoyed printing out reference pictures and even making copies of their artwork to take home. Words can not express how grateful they are. Thank you for your support.”

Light Up Their World!
Funded Dec 3, 2019I can't express how thankful I am for your generous donation. The students were ecstatic to open their new art supplies. So many various projects benefited from your donation. I teach for a consolidated school district and teach every child in our district from PreK to 12th grade.
The pictures you see are just from one class working on their thank you notes with their new markers. We have been without markers for sometime now. Our others were already used up and dried up from the beginning of the school year. The oil pastels were used to make some beautiful Christmas Art that was sent home. We will continue to benefit from these supplies for the next year.
The group picture was from a project that my high school Art 1 kids did with my first graders. Both schools actually benefitted from your donation. The lightbox has already brought joy to so many. Especially our special education department which uses my classroom in the mornings for general education.”

Funded Dec 20, 2018My students were so excited when they received all the acrylic paints and other art materials as our supplies were depleting. We have used the paints to create painted ceiling tiles and we also used them on canvases covered with denim. Each student had to pick their favorite artist and research paintings to go with their theme.
As you can tell by the unique paintings how each student incorporated the artists' original style, painting works of art or items that relate to them. This has been one of their favorite projects this year and I will be teaching it again next year. I was pleased with the final results.
Thank you for making these artworks come to life!”
