Your interest in and dedication to my classroom is admirable. A world where learning doesn't just have to happen with a pencil and a paper, but with a device can make learning interactive and engaging.
The tablets have become such a valuable tool and resource in my classroom. I have taken the time to purchase and download apps that can engage and challenge my students in learning how to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish. Since all my students are on different levels and have different learning styles, the tablets have successfully been able to engage my students in learning critical literacy and math skills using different apps.
The tablets you have donated will be used for many years to come, not just this year! You have provided us with a valuable and enriching tool that will boost my students' learning, and for that I will always be thankful.

Funded Sep 17, 2022Thank you so much for your donations to my class. These centers have provided my students with multiple opportunity to practice the mathematical and literacy skills we have learned in class daily.
My students are more excited and engaged during center time. These games help me to differentiate center activities based on student needs. These games also help me with my home school connection. I am able now to share resources more easily with my parents. Now games can go home so that learning at home is also engaging and fun. These games also help the parents to be involved in their child's learning.
I have invited teachers into my room to come and see how engaged my students are due to these games. Your interest in and dedication to my classroom is so appreciated. Christmas Stockings for Amazing 1st Graders
Funded Dec 16, 2021I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your donations. It made all the difference to my students this year. These presents brought a smile to each of my students. They were so excited when they received their stockings. Each stocking was filled with candies, play-doh, lollipops, books, stickers, stampers, pencils. I really appreciate your support in getting this project funded.The parents were also very grateful too.
My students are amazing and smart, and they are like family to me. The Christmas stocking showed my kiddos that generous people like you care about them. It is because of caring and kind people like you, that teachers can make a huge impact in the lives of our students.

Social Emotional Help for Kids
Funded Oct 17, 2021Children's social and emotional health affects their learning and affects the motivation to learn. I want my students to be happy and motivated to learn every day. Ever since we got the pop it toys and the breathing balls in my classroom, the overall stress and anxiety levels among my students have improved for the better.
The students use the pop its during literacy centers when they are sounding out words. They say a word, then pop a bubble for each phoneme or sound. Also, kids use it to study their spelling words. They practice spelling words by "popping" the letters. Also, the expandable balls have helped my students to learn to follow their breath during mindfulness practice.
In addition, during social emotional time early in the morning while some students eat breakfast, others get a chance to use either the pop it toys or the expandable breathing ball.
Thank you so much as these resources have made my class much calmer, focused and more motivated to learn.

Funded Dec 29, 2020Words cannot express how grateful my students and I are for your generous donations. Remote learning is very challenging for kids so give them these supplies has made both the in person and the virtual learning experiences more meaningful for them.
With these new supplies, my students were able to do more projects. Also, by refilling our pencil, markers and notebooks inventory, it took some of the burden off of my students, so they never had to worry about coming to school without any supplies. By having more math manipulatives such as the number lines and counting bears in our classroom, I was able to provide each student with manipulatives so they can solve word problems and to strengthen their mathematical skills. By using white boards, my students were able to use it to do a quick write, or brainstorm during the writing workshop. In addition, the sight word rings have helped my students learned many high frequency words. My students are making so much progress in reading thanks to your generous donations.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you all for donating. It warms my heart to know that there are people who believe in me and want my students to succeed. My students are AMAZING kids, and I am blessed to be their teacher. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!"”

iLearning Support During COVID-19
Funded Nov 23, 2020Words cannot express how thankful my students and I are for your generous donations. Your interest in and dedication to my classroom is commendable especially during this difficult moment in our country. Your generous donations have created a new way of learning that doesn't just have to happen with a pencil and a paper, but with a device (laptop) that has made learning more interactive and engaging for my students.
The laptop has become such a valuable tool and resource in my classroom. I have taken the time to purchase and download apps that can engage and challenge my students in learning how to read, write, and do math as well. Since all of my students are on different levels and have different learning styles, the laptop has successfully been able to engage my students in learning critical literacy and math skills through the use of different apps. I am able to do my live instruction and small groups using Google Meet without any interruptions.
Now, I am able to create lessons that are more interactive and engaging because I am able to incorporate videos and images and sounds using the laptop. But most importantly with this new laptop, I am able to connect, teach and provide social emotional support to my students during this Pandemic.
The laptop you have donated will be used for many years to come, not just this year! You have provided us with a valuable and enriching tool that will boost my students' learning, and for that I will always be thankful.”

Funded Aug 13, 2020Words cannot express how grateful my students and I are for your generous donations. With these new books and supplies, my students were able to do many hands on projects. My students love reading and writing about families. The students wanted to draw their families and they used the multicultural crayons and people shapes. The kids were so excited to read and look at the families posters from different backgrounds and cultures. I can honestly say that the family project was very meaningful to them. Thanks again for your donations.
The multicultural books help me provide my students with the opportunity to see themselves reflected in multicultural books within our classroom! We needed multicultural books (fiction and nonfiction), multicultural crayons, makers, and arts and crafts so kids can express their individual creativity and thanks to your generous donations I was able to do that for my students. These books will make a difference in my students' learning because they will be able to make connections to the characters.These books will also give my students the learning opportunities to see and learn about people of other cultures.

projects, use supplemental worksheets to complete activities that strengthen their literacy and math skills, and participate in engaging discussions with their classmates with social distancing. By refilling our pencil and crayon inventory, it took some of the burden off of my students so they never had to worry about coming to school without any supplies. You provided supplies for them! By having more paper in our classroom, I was able to provide more center activities for my students that helped strengthen critical foundational skills needed for the development of their learning. By using white boards and dry erase markers and erasers , my students were able to use these tools to jot notes, do a quick write, and even show their work while delivering instructional content. By writing it down on these tools, my students were able to discuss their work with their peers and demonstrate their logic or reasoning through the boards! using social distancing. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you all for donating. It warms my heart to know that there are people who believe in my students want them to succeed.
