• Puzzle Time!

  Thank you for the amazing puzzles for our classroom. It has benefitted my students over multiple years now.

  I love how the puzzles have built problem solving skills, encouraged collaboration among the students and been an overall enjoyable activity for my students.

  Puzzles are a great way for students to build independence and gain confidence. I have seen the kids support each other as they struggle through a challenging for the first time. The empathy and care they show for each other is truly incredible. I definitely was surprised at how many skills were learned by having the puzzles in the room.”

• TK Innovators

  Funded Sep 27, 2018

  This project helped me create a technology center in my classroom. It has been used by students to create Google slides, to listen along to stories, and to leverage the online learning tools our district provides.

  Being able to use the computers has helped students become more independent. They also are a way for older students in our school to volunteer in our classroom. Our older students came in to teach our TK students computer skills. On Google slides, they showed the students how to use the speech to text function to search for images to go along with their genius hour projects.

• Calming Corner

I typically have 3rd, 4th and 5th graders who come to visit my students on their lunch break, and now they will also benefit from a place to just come and escape when they need a moment to calm down.”
