A Home Away From Home
Funded Jan 1, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donations. I am extremely touched and grateful to start the new year off with this gracious gift. I know my scholars are going to be so excited to hear the good news. With half the year left, I am excited to start and end it with a classroom they can call home!”

Tech Savvy in 3rd!
Funded May 24, 2021This year has been another challenge. With everything being pushed to being "normal" it has been hard not only on the kids but as well as the teachers. We have been following district regulations which is to test the children as much as we can. The testing is being done on their devices, which again not everyone has. It has made such a huge difference with having some ipads in the classroom for the children to work on. Especially when some either don't have one or simply forgot it since they have to bring it back and forth to school every day. The children are so appreciative because no one feels left out. I am so grateful for your generous donation and so are my scholars.”

Funded Dec 18, 2020The pandemic hit us hard this school year. Especially my children who are mostly from low-income families. With the pandemic also came budget cuts, so this year we didn't have the teacher choice money that we get every year, which made it a little more difficult to support the children with materials. Then we were blessed to get my project granted funded and helped me bring materials to the classroom. The children were so appreciative and happy that they would be able to bring materials home to help them when they are remote. Again, thank you for all your help! I couldn't have done it without your help!”

Funded Feb 13, 2020Before the pandemic hit us, the children had about three weeks with all the new gadgets and learning supplies. When the children saw the boxes come in, they face glowed up. I told them we had a special delivery. They were so eager and excited, especially for the wobbly chairs and the other flex chairs. The blue flex chairs were used in the library and every day I had students ask me can they read their book on the library carpet, just so they can sit on the chairs. The seating also helped with my students with Special needs, especially those with ADHD. It helped them focus a lot more and saw it as a reward for them. Also, every Friday the children would get fun Friday and many of them couldn't wait to play with the amazon tablet. They would get so excited when they would see their favorite show on it. Despite the children being remote, these little things impacted them and they would always bring up the times they shared with these supplies. They were so grateful and for that I am so honored to have this project funded by you.”

Funded Jan 13, 2020My children and I are so appreciative of your generous donations. My children were more eager than me to receive our package! My little scholars were so excited to do their book exchange and take their new book baggies home. They feel more responsible than ever to take care of the materials. During Guided Reading my scholars love to build words with magnetic letters, especially those who need the extra support. The privacy binders help those scholars remain on task and not worry about the other scholars. I couldn't be more thankful about this project being funded and it was because of YOU!”
