When you tell someone you work at a Title I school, all they hear is "poor." But the students I have the privilege of working with are so much more than their financial statuses. Working in a Title I school means that I get to educate a diverse group of ferocious learners. Every student that comes through my classroom door is unique, with interests, and stories, that are all their own. Having access to stories that they can connect to enables them to better express and process the things happening in the world around them.

About my class
