Success in Centers!
Funded Sep 1, 2017I want to take this moment to thank you again for your generous contribution. My students have been having so much fun with their new supplies! This new kinetic sand is so amazing for practicing their sight words and motor skills. Also my kids really enjoy the new bean bag and our "take a break" center has been totally revamped. What a difference a few things can make to the overall environment. My students are happier than ever this year and I really think it has something to do with the new supplies.
Their eyes lit up when they saw everything. What an encouragement it is to have students who are so excited to come to school! We are working on reading and understanding nonfiction books now. The students are thrilled to learn new things everyday. Thank you so much for your donation and helping my students grow!”

Funded Nov 2, 2016I want to take a moment to again thank you for your generous donations. The students in my class have gone through many of the bold and colorful post its practicing making inferences, identifying characters, problem, solution and more. Having more head phones has allowed more students to be on ipads at the same time. The plastic sheet pockets are their favorite! They love the colors. They are easy to wipe off and the students are also able to practice math strategies, sight words, reading and more!
When I opened the box of supplies, the students and teachers were all in shock at the amazing, colorful gifts inside.
This week we are finishing up our personal narratives and those new pencils really came in handy! We are also starting a new unit in Literacy reading about how students go to school all over the world. Discovering how they are similar and different from us. My students are thrilled to learn more and I'm excited to have these supplies to better support them.”

Astonishing Authors of 1st Grade
Funded Jan 20, 2016First I want to thank you again for your generous donation to our classroom. My sweet, hardworking students have been using all of the supplies they received since the day they reached our humble school. They were most excited when they saw our brand new colorful writing bins. Their eyes lit up immediately! My students are the most curious kids so right away they asked what they were. Ever since, we've used them every day to keep us organized. Our group monitors have gained responsibility by going to the bins to get the folders for their group.
Besides the bins, having erasers and enough pre-sharpened pencils for everyone has really helped out during tests and writing time especially. It has also cut down on my prep time. Instead of sharpening brand new pencils, I am able to dedicate more time to lesson planning and preparing for my students. This month we will be writing all about books on community service members and my students are thrilled! I'm so grateful to you for your kindness. Thank you for helping my students and making the day to day routine easier!”

Lackluster Library in Need of Help
Funded Sep 11, 2013Greetings! I want to update you on how your kind and generous gift was utilized. We have received all of the bright, beautiful and CLEAN bins for our library! They look absolutely wonderful and are much more accessible to my 3rd graders. They easily hold all of our books without tearing the covers (as our old baskets did). My students ask to go to the library all of the time now. They have no difficulty finding the books they would like to read. I used the larger bins for picture books and the smaller fit the chapter books like a glove. I had so many bins that I was even able to organize our NEW reading curriculum. We received class sets of at least 10 books and I was grateful to have extra bins to hold all of them.
Other teachers have come by my class to see how beautiful the library is. When they ask where I got all of the bins, I tell them they were from generous donors who wanted to help out a class in need. Because of your generous contribution to my classroom, students are able to practice their reading and find books they will treasure for years to come. Thank you again and again!”

Funded Mar 19, 2013This is a small letter to let you know how thankful I am for your donation. My students have truly benefited from the supplies they received. Our math lessons are so much easier to understand with the base ten block visual aids. Students are enjoying using their new math centers on Friday afternoons. It truly is a treat for them that they look forward to.
Many times as teachers, we have to make do with the supplies we have. Because of your generous donation, my students will not have to go without.”
