Throughout the semester students have learned about the creative process, how to measure, read blue prints, and execute designs.
In this final project, students will apply their knowledge by mapping their route to school, creating wearable "safe spaces" that can be worn to help combat the hazards they encounter on their way, and designing and building one shareable safe space to be installed in the school courtyard. Students will use materials like the wire form aluminum gallery mesh, cellophane, and muslin to enhance their structures.
This will give students a stage to showcase the work they do in STEM, as well as provide a service for their classmates.
