The students in my classroom as well as our school come from low income families. Often times, these students don't have access to technology other than in our classroom and computer lab. The ever changing world of education is becoming more and more technology based. Part of our curriculum is helping our students to become literate at an early age. In order for that to happen, our students must learn their letters and letter sounds and they must be phonologically aware. These iPad's will assist in teaching the children letters, letter sounds and other skills in order for them to read. There are so many great resources and apps available on the Ipad that will assist the children in learning their letters and letter sounds. These are not just games they are learning tools for the young.
