Happy Little Learners
Funded Oct 3, 2020Thank you so very much for your donations for my students. Because of your donations, my students now have chair pockets for when they are able to resume face to face learning. As we are trying to make things as safe as possible when the children are able to return to the classroom, chair pockets are going to be a big help for us. We are used to having classroom supplies and sharing everything but because of covid, each child must have all of their own supplies and an area to keep them in.
My students were able to see their chair pockets and they were so excited. Some of my students wanted to take their chair pockets home with them but they understood that they would be waiting for them when they returned to school. They all wanted to send the same message, thank you.
Again, thank you so much. From the bottom of my heart, I am truly grateful.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Hunt

I would like to briefly give you an idea as to how the materials that you helped to supply for my class will be used. Paper plates are used for snacks and crafts. We are constantly using the Lysol wipes to sanitize everything daily. The jellyfish lamps will be used as a calming area for my students. The books will be used to give each student as we learn and celebrate various holidays.
Again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for the donations. Everything is so very much appreciated and will be used with much love and excitement.”

My students could not believe their eyes when they saw all of the boxes and packages being delivered to our classroom. They were unbelievably excited to find out that the the boxes and packages contained items such as new books, wooden birdhouses, wooden picture frames and so much more. My students helped to unpack all of the boxes and packages. It was Christmas in the spring!
I would like to briefly give you an idea as to how some of these items were used. Paper plates, bowls, paper bags, sandwich and snack baggies are used on a daily basis and we are constantly running out of those things. The jellyfish lamp was intended for a calming area in the classroom for my students who needed an area to calm down but I ended up putting it in a common area of the classroom because my students loved it so much. The books were included in a summer package so my students could continue their learning during the summer while they were out of school. And last but not least, my students painted, decorated, and added bird seeds to their wooden birdhouses which were given to their fathers as Father's Day presents.
Again, from the bottom of my heart and from the hearts of my little ones, thank you so much for the donations. They were very much appreciated and used with much love and excitement.”
