  • Starting the Year Off Right

    Funded Sep 26, 2022

Thank you so very much for your generous donation! My students and I are truly grateful and appreciative. You have helped us to truly start our year off much better than we would have. There were many supplies that we were running low on or we simply didn't have. Lysol, paper plates, play doh, were all items that we needed and didn't have to start our year. Lysol wipes and sprays are items that we are consistently in need of as we try to maintain and safe and healthy environment. Again, we would like to thank you for your donation.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Hunt

  • The Kissing Hand, Welcome to Pre-K

    Funded Sep 2, 2022

Thank you so very much for your generous donation! My students love the book "The Kissing Hand." I wanted them to each have their own book that a family member could read to them at home. Along with their own book, they received little wooden hearts and string. They were able to paint and decorate the little hearts and make a heart necklace to go with their "The Kissing Hand" books. My students were so excited about receiving these supplies and they had so much fun working on their necklace. Our class sends a big thank you to you!”

  • Pre-k Art

    Funded Apr 20, 2022

Thank you so much for your very generous donation. My students love to express themselves through drawing, painting and creating. The art supplies that they received, they used for a special Mother's Day project. The children were so creative and totally enjoyed themselves while working on this project. The mothers were very impressed with their child's work and very excited to receive such a creative gift. The children had so much fun working on this project, they asked if they could create another project for Father's Day.”

  • Replacement Tablets

    Funded Nov 30, 2021

Thank you so very much for your donation. My students love working on the tablets. There are several great programs that my students use on these tablets. They learn letter recognition, letter sounds, print knowledge, hand and eye coordination, counting, shapes, and many other skills. We were in need of new tablets because our old ones were several years old and they couldn't keep a charge for very long. When the tablet arrived, my students were very excited. They couldn't wait to start working on them.

Again, I would like to express gratitude 3for your donation.”

  • Cars, Cars, Cars (Part 2)

    Funded Dec 29, 2021

Thank you so very much for the purchase of our solar car kits. This was a family STEM project for my class. My students had so much fun putting those cars together and they were also able to learn a little about solar power. After putting their cars together and painting them, my students displayed the cars outside of our classroom where others were able to see their work. Since this was a family project, my students and their families were able to participate and learn from this activity.

Again, my students and I would like to express our gratitude for your donations.”

  • Painting Kindness Rocks

    Funded Nov 15, 2021

Thank you so very much for the purchase of all of our materials (rocks, paint pens, and stickers) for our kindness project. My students have been learning about the importance of kindness. My students love being creative and painting. We decided to have fun painting and decorating rocks and to deliver those rocks around our school with kindness notes to try to add a little happiness to other's day.

My students were so excited when they saw the materials arriving to our classroom. They could not wait to start working on their project. Again, I would like to say thank you. My students and I are so very appreciative.”

  • Books, Books, and More Books

    Funded Oct 29, 2021

Thank you so much for our books! My students and their families love the books. In our classroom, our new books are used for whole group reading, paired reading and shared reading. Some of our new books went home with our students because they lack books at home.

My students love these books because they are easy readers and as a result of that, they are gaining confidence and learning as they practice reading both in the classroom and at home.

Some of the skills that my students are learning and improving upon include word recognition, print knowledge, reading comprehension, and letter sounds. These books will also help my students with some of the assessments that they are given.

Again, thank you so much for our book donation.”

  • Counting to 100

    Funded Dec 25, 2020

Thank you so very much for the purchase of our numbers board. My students have been learning virtually for the entire school year. It is truly a challenge to find fun and engaging ways to teach pre-k students through a computer screen on a daily basis. I found these numbers boards and thought it would be a great benefit to my students if each child could have a board. To my surprise, my project was funded!

My students come to the front door of our school to pick up their work packets for the week. They were told that they had a present that was going to help them with counting and learning their numbers. They were so excited and very appreciative. Their message to you is "thank you."

My students love their numbers board and they work on it daily. Also, at this point, the majority of my class have demonstrated much improvement with number recognition and counting. Again, thank you so very much!”

Hi and welcome to my classroom. I have 18 energetic, enthusiastic, and loving students who come to school excited about learning everyday. I feel very fortunate to have each one of these little ones in my class this year. They are truly an awesome bunch. They greet each other with a hug in the morning and end the day the same way. These little ones love learning about other cultures and are very adventurous about trying new foods. King cake, alligator meat, pork skins, cotton candy grapes, moon grapes, calamari, blood oranges, and red peppers are just a few things that my students have tried for the first time. I love the excitement that my students show when they are being introduced to something new. Learning is fun and we celebrate learning daily. Please help to support my little learners and make a donation to our classroom.
