  Thank you for your generous donations to our class. We are so excited to have new Kindles! With the addition of these new digital tools, we now have an even dozen Kindles to work with during our English class, with Mrs. Lymberopoulos. We use them to quickly research information and to look up new vocabulary words when we are reading a new text. They are perfect and adorable!

  They are a great tool for quickly referencing new material. Our teacher keeps them on our desks, for easy access. Also, the battery lasts a very long time. Once again, THANK YOU!”

By helping us look professional, with our new uniforms, you will help us stay focused in our classes, because we will not be overly concerned with our appearance . They look great and we feel good wearing them! Soon, we will start going on interviews and attending our internships. We are confident! Unfortunately, some of our classmates do not have the resources to buy their own shoes, shirts, or ties. Now, we have what we need to succeed.”

• Frankenstein, AP English, and Wicked, Oh My!

  We would like to thank you all for making this opportunity possible for our literature class. For many of us, this was the first time we were able to have a true "New Yorker" experience at a Broadway show, even though we grew up crossing avenues and riding trains. While watching Wicked, we were able to make connections to literature and also, to our lives. Without your support and funding, many of us would have not had the learning and cultural experience before leaving. This was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. • College Bound Seniors Need To Be Organized

Research continuously shows us that good organizational skills and habits are an essential and vital component of a successful classroom and successful students. With our new locking storage closet, my students will be able to keep their supplies organized and safe.

• Smell The Roses! - Life Essentials

  Thank you so much for your generous gift to my students. Although, as a learning community, we generally focus on academics, it is important to remember that educating the whole child is imperative; this includes teaching youngsters about personal hygiene and health. Through your donation to this project, I am able to teach and reinforce, in my students, that proper personal hygiene habits are a necessary life skill. Your generosity will impact our entire student body. Each of our children will be given one antiperspirant to take home, or keep in their locker.”

Generally, when we think of school, we think of teachers, students, books, pencils, etc. However, often times, we forget that a school is a small community. At our school, this couldn't be any truer. As a small school, we function more like an extended family. We cheer eachother on during the good times, and we support one another when times are tough. By helping us provide basic necessities to our students, you too, help support our children during these difficult times. Many children will benefit from this project.   WOW! Where do I begin? Your unparalleled selflessness bring me to tears. Thank you for the generosity you have shown my children! My heart almost burst, today, as I watched my students carefully open the boxes containing our precious Dell laptops. They were so excited to know that they would be the first, of many seniors, for years to come, who would get to use the new equipment. We now have our very own set of working computers to use as we prepare for college and careers outside of the walls of our beloved high school.”

• Did You Hear That?

  Thank you so much for your generous contribution to the Class of 2016! My students were so excited to see the box filled with headphones as it was delivered to my classroom. As you know, students love to listen to music while they work on their essays. However, in a classroom, it is very difficult to accommodate various tastes in music, simultaneously. Now, each of my students could listen to their own music while they work on the computers, without bothering one another. They even have a choice in the color they will use!”
