  This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donations to my class. The germ supplies aka hand soap and Clorox wipes have had a great impact on my students this year. These materials are essential in a Kindergarten classroom and I did not have much. These materials are used on a daily basis and they help us keep healthy and germ free. • Making Math Come Alive!

The magna tiles that you have donated to my classroom will assist my students in using their imagination and learning through play this year and will impact my students next year as well. These materials are essential in a Kindergarten classroom. Play permits a child to fit the reality of the world into their own interests and knowledge. Research shows that children who engage in complex forms of play have greater language skills than non-players, better social skills, more empathy, more imagination, and more of the subtle capacity to know what others mean. My students were overjoyed when saw the boxes of magna tiles. They are the number one choice during center time! The block people, stores and cars that you have donated to my classroom will assist my students in using their imagination and learning through play this year and will impact my students next year as well. These materials are essential in a Kindergarten classroom and I did not have much. Play permits a child to fit the reality of the world into their own interests and knowledge. These materials are essential in a Kindergarten classroom and I did not have much. It is very important for me, as a kindergarten teacher, to provide my students with a variety of engaging activities to practice early reading. This is the first experience these students have in their education. This listening center will help to develop language skills and a love for reading. Children need to be read to, and with this listening center I am able to make sure each child receives good quality literature to help develop their vocabulary. My students use and will continue to use the materials daily. My students were overjoyed when they saw all of the materials. Your gift is extremely appreciated and has been put to great use. This is the year that will shape a child's attitude about school and about learning. Making it the most positive and nurturing experience is a way to insure that these children will continue to love learning and strive to do their best in school. The iPad will help reinforce reading, writing, and math skills. The iPad applications will help with letter and sound recognition, counting skills, addition, subtraction, letter/number writing, and much more. The iPad will also help my students learn how to use technology. The iPad will provide a much richer learning environment and aid many students for years to come.
