Hello Donors! Thank you so much for considering this project as something to invest in! I will be going into my 1st year of teaching as a Special Education teacher in math and science. I will be teaching 5th and 6th graders. I am preparing for next year and wanted to create a project that would help fund the materials, resources, and supplies that students will need this upcoming school year. Students will be retuning in person, and I want to have the materials, manipulatives, and supplies are available for the best learning possible. Due to this being my first year, my classroom is empty and I need to make it feel and look like a place where learning will always take place daily. I am hoping that with readied materials and resources for my classroom, our class family will move with higher efficiency and purpose to master standards and more collaboration between peers. The supplies and materials will help students to learn individually and as a collective. It is important to me that students have the basic needs within the classroom that caters to their individual learning style. The current 4th and 5th grade students have worked so hard this past year and have shown so much interest in growing their minds, community, and their school. Thank you for your consideration and hope to share more about their progress!
