    Thank you very much for your donations to the classroom. The students were very excited when they found out a listening center was donated to the classroom. They love being able to relax with a good book. Many of the books that came with the listening center are new to the students. It is very exciting to watch the students use the listening center and hear the excitement and discussions that come along with the stories. The listening center has been an extremely positive addition to the classroom and I cannot thank you enough for your support.”

  • Carpet Needed For Instruction

    Thank you SO much for donating the carpet and easel to the classroom. It really means a lot to me that you all took the time out of your schedules to donate. My students absolutely love the carpet and easel. Each student has an assigned dot on the carpet, which has helped with behavior during whole group time. The students love to lay down on the carpet and relax with their books. The easel has also been a wonderful addition to our classroom materials. The students love taking turns being the teacher during math time and they love practicing how to write friendly letters on the board. I hope you all enjoyed your thank you notes. Again, thank you for donating. I really appreciate it.”

As a teacher of students with a variety of learning needs, I work to instill a positive attitude to promote lifelong learning. My students walk into the class knowing that they can rise to the challenges presented to them through hard work and perseverance. Students are encouraged to learn and grow at their own speed to become capable and confident learners.
