  • I Survived!

    Funded Sep 7, 2018

Thank you very much for your generous donations. The books have arrived and the students are loving reading these chapter books. They are learning about events in history that are written in a way that is so captivating to them. Students love sharing all the new information that they are learning. I cannot wait to get more of these books one day soon. I love having books in the classroom library that the students get lost in while reading. Thank you again for giving these students another way to learn about important historical events.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Beers

  • Who, What, Where?

    Funded Aug 15, 2018

The students absolutely love these books. They are reading about people, events, and places that they have never heard of. By reading these chapter books the students are becoming more interested and curious about new topics. Some even want to do more research afterward. At the end of the school year the students have to do a biography report using these chapter books. It will be great to share these books with students in other classrooms. Thank you all again for your donations! These books have been nothing but beneficial.”

Thank you very much for your generous donations to the classroom. This project has been extremely beneficial during workshop/small group and during literacy intervention. These kits have allowed the students to build their reading fluency along with reading comprehension. The variety of reading levels with these texts have allowed for the students to learn on a variety of different reading levels that are catered to their needs. I am excited to see the students use the rest of the kits and see the engagement.”

Thank you so much for your very generous donations to the classroom. The students in the classroom love their new birthday celebration supplies. Each student loves being honored on their special day with something that makes them stand out and be unique. The birthday pencil with a cupcake eraser has been a huge hit in the classroom. The paw bracelets have also been a popular item for the students at the end of the day when picking out of the prize bin. The students love the new additions to the classroom!”

  • Motivational Pencils and Stickers!

    Funded Jul 28, 2017

Thank you for the donations to the classroom. These materials have been successful in making sure the students are motivated, ready to learn, and feel special. The birthday supplies give the students something extra special on their birthday. The students love being recognized, even if it is just with a special pencil. All the stickers are helping the students complete their homework charts which in turn gets them a homework pass. The students look forward to adding a different sticker every day to their charts. These materials help make sure homework is returned.”

  • Label It! Time It! Hear It!

    Funded Jul 28, 2017

Thank you for your very nice donations to the classroom. The headphones have been so extremely helpful with the computers in the classroom. At the beginning of the school year the classroom computers did not have any headphones making small group/workshop and intervention very difficult. The headphones have made a huge difference. The label maker has also been helpful making sure all the classroom materials and supplies get returned to the right classroom along with placing objects in the correct spot.”

  • Keep Us Healthy All Year Long!

    Funded Jul 28, 2017

Thank you for the very nice donations to the classroom and helping us keep each other healthy. The supplies have helped us many times this year already. The purell has allowed students to have a classroom job when we go to the bathroom each day. The tissues, paper towels, and soap have come in handy as we enter cold and flu season. The students also enjoy the air fresheners and Lysol wipes. Every week the students get a chance to wipe down their desks and chairs with a Lysol wipe so they can start each week with a clean learning environment.”

  • Movement Stools

    Funded Jul 28, 2017

Thank you so much for the donations to the classroom. The students have enjoyed having the stools in the classroom as part of our classroom furniture. One of the stools is used at our VIP table which is an extra incentive to follow classroom and school expectations. The rest of the stools are at the computer table to help students who need a change of seats. The students have shown great respect towards the movement stools. I was happy to see the students showing respect towards something that is placed into the classroom as not only a reward but a break.”
