• Building Letters

  Thank you so much for your kind and generous donation. The kids are so happy to have this toy in our classroom! They have so much fun playing and learning their letters. They have learned all the safety rules and are very careful when they play. The children build and say the letter that they built. It has been so much fun for them and me!

• Taking a Closer Look

  Thank you so much for the wonderful seeing toys! The children have tried out the microscope and binoculars so far. Unfortunately we haven't been about to take the binoculars or telescope out just yet. Once we're ready to head to explore, I know they will have so much fun trying to spot birds and squirrels in the nearby tree. Maybe we'll see a nest too. It's important for children to connect with nature and learn about their environment. Thank you again for making this possible! We are looking forward to a great school year together.”

• Building With Tegu Blocks

  Thank you so much for these wonderful building tools! Our 3K kiddos are having so much fun with their new building toy. They are also experimenting with magnets and asking why sometimes it sticks and sometimes it doesn't! They're starting to understand if one side doesn't work, turn it around to see if it will work. We started introducing the words, attract and repel. Slowly but surely, they'll be able to describe the sticking as attracting and not sticking as repelling. It's amazing how little learners absorb knowledge so quickly! Thank you again for making this possible!”

• Math is Fun!

  Thank you for making our last days of school filled with fun and math! We had so much fun making ice cream and counting scoops of ice cream. The children took orders and asked how many scoops of ice cream a customer wanted. It was a sweet treat for everyone. Our math center became very popular as they patiently waited for their turn to play and count with ice cream. These were great concrete materials for my class to play and learn with. Thank you again for making last few days of school amazing!”

• Engineering a Vertical Pathway

  Thank you so much for making our last days of school so fun! We had a ball, trying to get the balls to the bottom. The children also tried using other materials to see what else could stick to the board. They discovered that the magnatiles could also be used. They tried building vertically with the mangatiles! There were some success and failures but we learn so much through trial and error. The children only had a few days to play with it but when the board comes back out in September, there will be a school year's worth of exploration and excitement! Thank you again for making this possible.”

• Social Emotional Learning in 3k

  Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity! The students loved celebrating the end of the year. They drew beautiful pictures on their little totes that said, "Pre-K Ready!" Each student took home a tote bag with books, bubbles, and some treats for the end of the year. Thank you for making their school year memorable and helping us to celebrate their growth and progress. They will be going into Pre-K feeling accomplished and excited for school!

  The social emotional Lego's have been very popular. The children enjoy creating different faces and labelling the feelings. Thank you again and have a great summer!”

• Changes in 3K

  We have had so much fun in our last month of school thanks to you! We watched our butterflies change from tiny caterpillars to big fat caterpillars. Then we came back and all of a sudden they were gone. The children were so fascinated with what they saw. But their favorite part by far was coming back to see full grown butterflies!

  They also had a blast making ice cream together! We used our ingredients to create our own vanilla ice cream. The students were customers who visited the shop to order ice cream. The students then opened their own ice cream shop in dramatic play. They're going to leave our class with beautiful memories. Thank you so making this all possible! We hope you have a great summer!”

• Diverse Books for Our Diverse Class

  Thank you so much for these wonderful books. We will keep them in our classroom library with our book labeled All About Us. This way students can see themselves in the stories we got. I know our students are each special and amazing. It is important that they learn to see themselves as special, unique, and important as well. Life is a long road with many challenges, but knowing that they have what it takes to succeed will help them to overcome any challenge they face in the future. • Books About Best Behaviors

  Thank you so much for these stories. We leave these books in our cozy corner for our students. So when they are feeling upset and are not quite sure about their choices, they can go to the cozy corner to calm down and look at our books to help them make a better choice.

  Learning how to deal with social emotional issues is a large part of our learning process. Without learning how to behave in a socially appropriate manner, learning academics will be challenging. So before we can learn how to read and write, we need to learn about ourselves. Thank you again!”

• Mo Books for 3K!

  Thank you so much for these wonderful books! Our class absolutely loves each of these stories! We loved these books so much that we had our classroom door painted with Mo Willems characters!

  Our favorite characters are Elephant and Piggie. We have several Elephant and Piggie dolls in our classroom, they are the children's go to reading partners. Elephant and Piggie has taught us about kindness, friendship, patience, compassion, and empathy. Thank you for bringing happiness and joy into our classroom.”
