  • Help My Students Become Multiplication Masters

    Funded Oct 14, 2019

My students use the bracelets daily while we are practicing our multiplication. We do a riddle every day involving multiplication and alliteration riddles. I see students looking at their bracelets instead of counting on their fingers and it saves a lot of time.

My students were very excited when our package arrived. I had told them what we were expecting. They couldn't wait for the package to get here.

My students are using the bracelets as a motivational tool to learn their facts before the end of January. They get one bracelet a week as long as they have learned the facts for that week. Most are progressing at a weekly rate.

Thank you so much for your donations to this project.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L.

  • Enriching Our Cherokee Culture

    Funded Feb 17, 2019

My students were so excited when they saw our packages being delivered to our classroom. They couldn't wait to open every package to see what was in it.

They loved the pencil boxes that they are using to hold their beads and beading materials for the crafts they are working on. Everyone was so happy to have an electrical pencil sharpener as we only had an old manual one that sometimes didn't work. The filing cabinet and accessories allow easy access for our teachers when we are getting ready for our Cherokee choir practice.

We want all our donors to know that we appreciate all of your help.

    Wado (thank you).”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L.

  • Help Us Become Mathematicians by Showing Our Work!

    Funded Jan 13, 2018

Thank you so much for your donations. Thanks to you we are prepared everyday for all our classes. We each get a pencil in the morning that we are able to use in all our classes and return them to our teacher at the end of the day. We are making sure to get the most use out of them as we can.

We were so excited when we saw our packages for our classroom. This meant that we didn't have to go to other classrooms to borrow sharpeners or find erasers. This means we no longer have to miss any part of our lessons.

We have been using our dry erase markers to review for our state tests. The pencils will be very helpful as we actually take our tests in a couple of days.

Again, thank you so much for making our classroom a better place for us to learn and grow as students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L.

  • Learning With Lego Blocks and Other Manipulatives

    Funded Mar 12, 2016

Thank you so much for the materials you supplied to our classroom. The students were so excited when they saw the Lego's and clocks.

The clocks have made learning about elapsed time so much easier for my students. They are able to see how the hands move in sync with each other.

The Lego's provide my students with visuals that seem to make fractions easier to understand. The great thing about is, they seem more eager to get the lesson started once they see the Lego's. They feel as if they are playing instead of learning.

Once again thank you so much for the supplies and encouraging my students learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L.

  • Starting the Year Off On a Good Note!!!!

    Funded Dec 20, 2015

My students were so excited when we received our packages. My students love the new scissors, glue sticks, colored pencils and markers! All our supplies had run out from the beginning of the year so these supplies came at a wonderful time.

They were able to use them for a Valentine's Day card project for local nursing homes as well as during center time. This project was very special to them. Thank you so much!!!

We will be using our supplies to create literacy boards next. These will be on display during one of our parent nights.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L.

  • Back To School

    Funded Oct 26, 2009

I would like to thank you for your donations. Every day my students were prepared to work because of the supplies you contributed to my class. The chart tablets you provided were so helpful to the students during group work.

Most of my students begin the year with little or no supplies, so your help was felt by everyone in my classroom. Your donations not only helped them be prepared for my class but their afternoon class as well.

Again thank you so much for helping make this year so successful for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L.
