My students are in a fourth grade ICT classroom. This means that the class has both general education and special education students. Our children come from all ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Their diversity both academically and culturally is what makes them flourish. Unfortunately, our school does not receive a large amount of funding. This limits our ability to offer the children all of learning opportunities that they deserve. Fourth grade is extremely important. The students take three state exams and the pressure is certainly on. We want to give them every chance of success. We can only do that with the proper tools. It's a beautiful thing when children watch as others give so generously. It shows all of us that it truly takes a village to raise a child.
