Inclusion is not simply about physical proximity. It is about intentionally planning for the success of all students! I would like purchase technology devices to further support inclusion lessons. These devices will help our students communicate their choice to their peers during an activity. It will also provide our students with audio. The technology devices will also provide our student with visual images during the lesson. I will be able to download apps that will support their lesson. Our general education students can model and be recorded on how to play a game or the desired outcome of the lesson. Presenting our students with disabilities with video modeling is the latest research-based strategy that helps visual learners understand what the desired task is. In addition, I want to capture the smiles and laughs of both of student populations. Using technology to support academic lessons content not only creates access for all students but also increases student engagement, focus and students will find gratification in learning with their special education peers.
