  • It's Time

    Funded Sep 1, 2017

I can't state how appreciative I am for all your support and donations to make this a reality. Having TIMES Kids has made such a different in the student's education. Not only are they improving on their reading and writing skills, but they are learning about social studies, science and civics also. Through the stories in these magazines the students are exposed to current events, animals, and historical events. Many of these stories take place in other states and/or countries allowing the students to experience what other people lives are like. This is essential not only for educational growth but personal growth also.

They have enjoyed these magazines so much. The activities are rich in research and hands on activities. Once again we greatly appreciate it.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L. Rodriguez

  • Reading is Ear-resistable

    Funded Jan 17, 2023

I can't thank you enough for funding this project. My students and I are so appreciative. Yu have now made possible that my students can successfully complete their required online segment for their Reading class. This will help them improve their reading skills and achieve their current academic goals.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L. Rodriguez

  • Alternative Resources

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

Thank you so much for considering my project worthy of your donation. In this profession it is all heart & your donation will maje such a positive impact on my students. My students are so appreciative when someone wants to help them grow & succeed in their academics. Once again, thank you.”

    With gratitude,

  • Next Level Reading/Phonics

    Funded Oct 2, 2021

I can't express my gratitude for your donation. Thanks to your donation my students were able to stay on schedule for their assessments and assignments required by the district.

Due to the pandemic, administration has had very difficult decisions to make as to what to prioritize and what not. Unfortunately, even though the district contracts these programs for our Reading classes, they don't provide the resources, like headphones with mics, that are necessary.

Having these headphones were a game changer. I normally by about 50 Dollar Tree ear buds, but they don't last very long; not to mention not as hygienic has headphones. The clarity of the headphones allowed the students to clearly hear the phonetic sounds and the mic allowed them to record their readings.

Once again, we (my students and I) are so appreciative for your donation.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L. Rodriguez

  • Resources At Their Fingertips!

    Funded Nov 29, 2017

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this. My students will take GREAT advantage of these tablets. Having this technology at their fingertips will help them advance so much. This will also be a great incentive to use with them (let them play a few games here and there) when they have completed their work and/or behaved great in class. Once again, thank you so much.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L. Rodriguez

I have an amazing group of 5th graders that face more obstacles and challenges than they should. I have a group of 21 ESE students with emotional and learning disabilities. I get to teach them Reading, Language Arts, Writing, and Social Studies. Sometimes it becomes more motivation and life skills than anything else. Aside form their own personal challenges, they are faced with family, economic, academic challenges that just become a greater burden than they can handle. I make it my everyday goal to make sure they know my class is a safe haven and that I am here genuinely for them & their personal growth. Unfortunately we are a school in a very low socio economic neighborhood with a lot of low income and immigrant hard working families which makes it so difficult to get adequate resources for the students. We really on hand me downs and any donations we can get. These kids are so inspiring and deserve so much.
