  • Back to the Basics

    These materials were so helpful to our class. I was able to print and adhere an alphabet chart to each of the tables. They used these daily while learning to read and write.

    We created I Can Read binders and put so many poems into sheet protectors to keep them from tearing. They got to color the pictures in them and make them feel like their own. They loved going back to these binders every day to read.

    I printed and cut up books with the paper cutter for them to keep and bring home!

    It may not seem like much but it made a big difference to my class and brought us all so much joy.”

  • A Vacuum a Day Keeps the Germs Away

    Thank you so much for your donations. With your help our classroom now feels cleaner than ever! We are able to vacuum the rug daily and get up all the dust and crumbs that are deposited on it throughout the day. Since receiving the vacuum I know everyone feels more comfortable sitting and learning on our classroom rug. Not to mention that it looks so much cleaner, and brighter now. We were also able to get cleaning supplies that keep our desks, and seats as germ free as possibly on a daily basis. This has made such a difference in our classroom environment especially since we eat snack at these desks everyday.”

  • Bring Our Art to Life

    We have only had these materials for a few days and it is amazing the amount of excitement they have created. I kept it a secret until they came and opened the boxes in front of the class as I explained how we would use them. They couldn't contain themselves when they saw all the paint and materials that were inside. I explained some of the different types of art we would be able to create with them, and by centers that day they were already begging to paint. It's wonderful to see what they think of and create on their own and we can't wait to use the paint and materials to make even more amazing things! Thank you for making this possible!”

Many times throughout the day my students come to the meeting area to learn math, literacy, and phonics. Currently they do not have a rug to sit on and instead have to sit on tile floors that can be very cold in the winter. A large rug that each of my students can sit on will help them feel comfortable through out the day, especially during mini lessons and small group work. When they are comfortable and feel they have their own space to be in they can use their energy to focus on learning. By donating to our project you are helping my kindergarteners have a comfortable place to sit and learn throughout the day.
