Currently in my classroom, my students have access to only two out-dated and close to "surplus" computers. My group of students love learning through technology but unfortunately, I am unable to give them much of an opportunity to use technology in my room. With the use of 4 mini iPads, headphones, cases, and headphone splitters, it will allow my students to be able to listen to reading, enrich their phonics, math and even science. These items will help my students be successful during independent work time. During our Daily 5 literacy block, my students have struggled with the opportunity with listening to reading due to the lack of devices in my room. I have such a varied range of readers in my room, and no matter what their reading level, each student would love to be able to work on their reading skills while using these new devices.
