I am a member of the Urban Teachers program, which is a preparation program that helps teachers become excellent educators in high-need schools. Throughout my time so far in Urban Teachers, I have learned how I can best serve my students by giving them the support and guidance they need to succeed. I have my masters degree in Education and in Special Education. I have taught Kindergarten and currently teach first grade. I want every child who walks through my door to feel safe and loved, and I want to help my students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
