My students are from all over the world. In my Sheltered World History class there are students from Jordan, Thailand, Mexico, Ukraine, Mongolia, the Philippines, Japan, and India. Most of these students are working hard to improve their language skills in order to go to college. Other students are struggling just to graduate. They really want to learn and to succeed. They are at all levels of ability. Some are ready for college and others are not fully literate.
