Using rich online digital media such as Time for Kids and Scholastic News will ensure high student engagement . Students with special needs learn most effectively using multi-modalities of learning. That means during online instruction students interact with content in a way that helps them ,"see, hear, feel and react" to what they are learning. Post secondary transition programs support special education students, ages 18-22, to become self-advocating independent adults who will contribute and participate in their communities. My students deserve to have the best virtual learning instruction I can provide...and will be forever grateful.
