Great Sensory Fun for All of my Students
Funded Sep 11, 2023My students love the tactile letters that they can touch and recognize the letters. The bubbles are a big hit in the classroom and the kinetic sand as well. My students take turns using the sensory materials for a sensory break.
My students were so excited when we received the materials and helped putting the bubbles in the bubble table and the kinetic sand its table. They did a good job taking turns.
My students need sensory time to take a break and also play with other classmates. The next step is to put the materials in part of the center rotations so they can play with them through out the day.”

Funded Sep 7, 2022It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give us these wonderful books. With these awesome books to choose from my students can interact with the stories as I read them. I was also able to provide a love of reading with my students.
Circle time activities are now highly anticipated and full of fun and excitement when I read a new book every week.
Thank you for your kind and generous donations! We are very appreciative!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Valhalla Foundation. The World of Play After a Learning Day?
Funded Apr 10, 2022My students have enjoyed earning the treasure box and cardinal money. Many of my students are AU and struggle with communication and socialization. Using the incentives give them opportunities to earn cardinal money for using their words and playing with another classmate.
My students were so excited when they saw the materials for the treasure box and they got really excited to go to the cardinal store and buy items.
The next step is to continue to work on social skills and and communication. My goal is to have my students become more independent and be able to communicate more and more.”

Funded Nov 15, 2021I want to thank you for the donation. My students require several visual icons to help them maneuver their environment at school and at home. Many of my students need color icons to understand what they need and how to communication using the colored icons. Some of my student use Starfall, online stories, and ABC Mouse and need headphones to help them focus on the learning. Using the headphones allows more than one student to be on the iPad at the same time and not disturbing my other students. Again thank you so much foe supporting my students”

This classroom project was brought to life by Valhalla Foundation.Color Icons for Communication
Funded Feb 3, 2021The color printer supports the visuals that are used with my students. My students each have different disabilities that affect their learning process and for them communicating is difficult. My students have individual communication books, visual schedules, snack visuals and more. The use of the color printer allows me to create all of these for each one of my student's. I am able to create all of the supports my students need. There is nothing more gratifying to see my students using words to communicate using icons or saying words verbally.”

Hands-on Learning in PPCD
Funded Nov 12, 2020My students need visuals to help them learn and maneuver their environment. The bright strips help them to use their visual schedules using color, for example the orange strip helps when I say "check you orange schedule" they know where to go. We also use orange feet on the floor at each center and when we transition we say "stand on the orange feet".
The calendar with icons of the weather allows my students to take turns choosing what the weather is outside and guessing what tomorrow will be. Having students at different cognitive levels the calendar provides each student a chance to participate.
The alphabet center chart is a great teaching tool because it allows all of my student to learn at their own pace. I have students who know all the letters but no the sounds and some do not know the letter yet. The pointers help when showing them what to look for and the dry erase pockets are great for independent work and I can set them up by colors.
I want to thank you again for your support. When my students saw the new materials they all wanted to use them.”

Funded Feb 21, 2015This is just a small token of my appreciation for your generous donation to my classroom. The math materials that you donated have improved the way my students feel about math. Many of my students struggle with math concepts and become frustrated to the point that they just give up. With the new math materials they have learned how fun math is and look forward to our math time now. They have learned new math terms, problem solving skills, and so much more.
Our schools budget was cut like so many other schools and without your help my students would not be able to enjoy these great math tools. Math is an area that all students need to master each year and will apply in their daily lives.
Without donors like you, millions of students would go without these vital teaching tools.”

Every Child Everyday College Bound!
Funded Oct 10, 2012This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The molding kits, multiple science kits and the graphic organizers have allowed my students to visually, tactilely, and cooperatively learn. They are now able to see the correlation between what they are learning and the real world.
Due to the budget cuts in my school district, without your help I would not have been able two acquire these vital learning materials that are used weekly in my classroom.
Thanks to generous donors like you students in classrooms around the United States are learning and achieving working towards being all they can be.”
