    Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. My 2nd and 3rd grade ESL students love reading our new picture books by Jon Klassen. These picture books are perfect for read aloud time. We enjoy deciphering the hidden meanings in his witty stories, and we especially love his illustrations. This collection of picture books has been a wonderful addition to our ESL library.   • Celebrating Asian Culture and Beauty in Kindergarten

    Thank you so much for helping to diversify the bookshelves in four of our kindergarten classrooms! With your generosity, our Asian kindergarten students are able to see themselves in books in their classroom libraries, while students of other ethnicities are able to learn about Asian culture through these stories. These picture books will also be perfect for teaching and celebrating Lunar New Year.

  • Learning English is Fun

    My students and I have been using our new computer for the past 2 months and it has been amazing! We are able to access educational websites such as Scholastic News and Open Court Reading. My students love watching videos clips on Scholastic News and learning about the world around them. Some of our topics of study this year include weather, animals, life cycles, community helpers and American symbols. This new computer is a valuable and effective teaching tool in my classroom.
