When I reached out to Donors Choose in 2022, I have to admit that I was very hesitant to believe that total strangers would be willing to reach out and fill the needs of my students. But that's exactly what you did.

I'm not sure you realize how much it means to children who come to school hungry and often times struggling to stay awake to receive a nutritious snack. Each day when I open another box of cereal, applesauce and other delicious snacks, my students line up with eagerness and bright smiles; and I tell them that these snacks came from some very special people who love children and want them to do well in school.

It is with joy that I tell you that these snacks are helping their brains and bodies grow stronger.”
