Yummy, Healthy Snack! Now I Can Wait for Lunch!
Funded May 8, 2024I cannot thank you enough for providing delicious and healthy snacks for my little students. I have many students who come from less fortunate families and rely on school breakfast and lunches for their meals. My class lunch time is at the end of their school day, which is very late for young children.
I have been able to provide snacks with your support for my last year class as well as for this school year's students too.
My students look forward to snack time, their favorite was trail mix and the Organic Breakfast Biscuits; because they have elmo on it. They called them 'elmo cookies' :).
Please know that you have made a difference in my students' school life
Again thank you so much for feeding the little ones!”

Funded Nov 11, 2023My young students are always looking forward to play with the dolls. Watching them playing with the dolls representing varied ethnicities as well as varied professions and dolls with special needs is indeed very fulfilling.
My students were super excited when I told them that we will be getting new dolls they have been eagerly waiting for. They started with exploring and examining each doll and decided these were the best dolls ever. One of students even exclaimed!, "these are even better than barbie!" and others actually agreed with her. Another one announced that he loves these dolls. One students mentioned that she wants to show these dolls to her uncle who uses a wheel chair. The only concern was that all of them wanted to play with them at once :). These dolls have become my students favorite activity during playtime. It was amazing and heartwarming to witness them relating these dolls to actual people in their lives.
Thank you for making it possible for me to provide inclusive play opportunities to my young students!”

Creativity Through Mess Free Paintbrush Pens and Pens!
Funded Jan 20, 2022My students are so excited when it is time to do art and paint. Previously they struggled in art activities when painting with water paints. Paint brushes were messy, harder to use as well as messy as water got spilled.
Paint Stix and Dab Markers help my students to carry out art activities without the fear of making messes. They look forward to do art activities and explore their creativity.
Thank you for helping my students experience the joy and a sense of achievement while exploring their creativity through art activities.”

Funded Nov 20, 2021I greatly appreciate your generosity and support in making necessary materials and supplies readily available to my students.
Students are so excited to have these sacks over the back of their chairs to keep essential supplies within their reach. The sacks have two easy-access pockets: a small pocket on top for small supplies like pencils, crayons, scissors and a big pocket for pocket folders, workbooks, and even their Chromebooks!
Please know that you are also helping save precious learning time spent on passing, distributing and collecting these items.
Thank you for helping me reduce the stress of not having/finding the materials required for school work, and achieve successful learning outcomes!”

Funded Aug 12, 2021My students have been thrilled with the new supplies! Play-doh proved to be a fun, engaging and relaxing morning welcome activity. Which also helped reduce separation anxiety for so many kindergartners especially at the beginning of the school year.
Students were so excited to have play-doh, whiteboards, and other additional school supplies. Students use whiteboards to practice writing letters, numbers and shapes. They learned how to write and draw on whiteboards initially and then moved on to Handwriting workbook to practice and improve their writing skills.
White boards, play-doh and additional supplies are essentials to provide the instruction and carrying out of learning activities. We use these supplies regularly, students use play doh to make letters, numbers, and shapes. Next, students will learn to write three-letter words and sentences on whiteboards.
Thank you for helping me provide these essential resources I needed to help my students learn and grow!”

Funded Apr 1, 2021We started in-person learning for small groups in mid April. I had about 50% of my students who chose in-person and rest were still at full time distance learning. It was only because of your graciousness I was able to send art supplies home for those students. I wish you could witness the excitement, engagement and the accomplishment of the kids while creating their art crafts.
Thank you for letting me complete the school year with fun, exciting, and engaging crafts for my kindergarten students.”

Funded Aug 11, 2020I can't thank you enough for your support! Our district went full on Distance Learning right from the beginning of school year. Due to the rise in Covid19 cases we will continue with Distance Learning. Whiteboards and markers have been a huge help in promoting penmanship among my kindergarten students during these unprecedented times. We've been using them daily for both English Language Arts and Math. The Handwriting workbook has proven very helpful in guiding the proper letter/number formation.
Students have been learning to write and practice letters & numbers. The lines on whiteboards have made the concept of proper letter/number writing directions accessible. We have completed the lines, shapes and number writing practice in the handwriting workbook, we still have some letters to do :). Students have also been using the whiteboards to draw pictures using the shapes.
The whiteboards and workbooks have proven very helpful for English Learners who have minimal academic support from home. The visual cues in the book helped them see and follow the directions to trace the letters/numbers in the workbook, as well as promoted further practice opportunities using the whiteboards to gain mastery and autonomy to write. My students really enjoy making shapes and then drawing pictures with different shapes. We have also started narrative reading and writing, it was amazing to watch my students drawing the settings and characters of stories we read on whiteboards.
Thank you for helping me provide the vital materials/resources that I might not have been able to provide to the little kindergartners without your help!”
