Create and Publish!
Funded Sep 18, 2024I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous contribution to our classroom project. Thanks to your support, we were able to purchase a new rug and a new printer, two items that have already had a profound impact on our learning environment.
The new rug has transformed our classroom into a more inviting and functional space. In our early elementary classroom, the rug serves as the heart of our daily routines. It's where we gather for group discussions, storytelling, and lessons that encourage collaboration. The soft, comfortable surface allows students to sit, move, and engage in ways that help build a sense of community and inclusivity. With the new rug, students are excited to come together as a class, ready to learn and share ideas. It's become a central space where our young learners can comfortably interact, helping to foster a sense of belonging and enthusiasm for school.
Similarly, the new printer has had an immediate and lasting impact on our classroom operations. As a teacher, I rely heavily on printed materials to supplement lessons, communicate with parents, and provide students with hands-on learning tools. This new printer has also enabled us to quickly print materials for special projects, presentations, and classroom events, which keeps the flow of learning consistent and engaging for students.
As we continue through the school year, I know the rug and printer will serve as key components in helping students thrive academically and emotionally. The rug has already fostered deeper connections between students, promoting cooperative learning and active participation, while the printer has increased the efficiency of our classroom, ensuring that every student has access to the materials they need to succeed.

Funded Nov 12, 2022Thank-you so much for you generous donation to our classroom project! We received our magnetic tiles and building blocks in the mail already! The kids helped me to open the amazon package and they were so excited. We had the chance to use them already, and they are very durable, solid pieces. So great watching the students work independently and in groups creating incredible structures!
It is so wonderful of you to help out with our classroom. As you can imagine, kids just love having items that they can build with. The more hands-on tools that we have in our classroom, the better the children can learn. Now thanks to you, they are learning and living their best school life!”

The look on the student's faces when I started unpacking these books is unforgettable! They were so excited to have new books and then when they realized the books all had meaningful messages, they were ecstatic! They are also so excited to get creative with our Cricut machine, we are coming up with so many fun projects.
We have been reading, reading, reading! I am so proud to let you know we have had so many meaningful conversations after reading these books! We will continue to work hard to get these students to make good choices, work on growth mindset, and treat others the way they want to be treated. We have been using it mostly to help decorate our classroom, create learning games, and other fun projects. It's great to see them excited and motivated for their learning, they are becoming super creative in 2nd grade! Yay!! We are still learning all the things this Cricut machine is capable of, it's awesome!
It is great to see that you share my vision for helping children and providing the best learning environment for them. My students deserve every opportunity to succeed and compete in today's society.

I quickly realized I needed to collect as many books as possible to get these students interested in reading with books they can relate to.
The look on the student's faces when I started unpacking these books is unforgettable! They were so excited to have new books and then when they realized the books all had meaningful messages, they were ecstatic!
For the past several weeks we have been reading, reading, reading! I am so proud to let you know we have had so many meaningful conversations after reading these books! We have been reading, reading, reading....on their own, with buddies, and aloud with an adult. I am so proud to let you know the students reading fluency has already improved! Funded Mar 29, 2017Thank you so much for your generosity! Our new book binding machine came in handy at the end of the school year. We were able to put our memory books together. All year long, we gathered writing, math, and different special activities and bound them together into a memory book of second grade. We also took a picture of each student at the beginning of each month to add to our books. At the end of the month, each student wrote a summary of what we did in class during the month, we added these to our books too. The books came out amazing and will be lifetime memories for each student.
When the box with the book binding machine and other supplies was delivered, the students were so excited! They couldn't wait to get started putting their memory books together. They came up with several other books they could create and actually "publish" using the machine.
Next year my students will have this machine to be able to use from the beginning of the year. Thank you so much for making this possible for them!!”

We have been using them mostly for Imagine Learning, Reading Counts, and Class Dojo. Each enhancing their individual learning. It's great to see them excited and motivated for their learning, they are becoming self starters in 2nd grade! We will be getting them set up with word processing very soon and get them writing! Yay!!
It is great to see that you share my vision for helping children and providing the best learning environment for them. My students deserve every opportunity to succeed and compete in today's society.

Hands on Art!
Funded Sep 10, 2016Thank you so much for your generosity! We have already put the colored pencils and markers to good use! We are creating a memory book for each student for their 2nd grade year. Most of the pages get laminated, so they will last longer. We use the colored pencils on the laminated pages, because crayons tend to melt. Our school district doesn't supply us with colored pencils, so we really appreciate your donation. For many projects, we use the Sharpie markers to create real 'juicy" and vibrant colors.
When I opened the box of supplies we received with my students, their faces lit up and they were super excited!! Each time we work on our memory books, I hear the students discussing the people who donated these colored pencils and pens to us. That's you!!! Thank you so much for making a difference!! You rock!”
