Mini Garden
Funded Oct 22, 2024We are thankful for your gracious generosity and support towards my students in providing them the opportunity to further develop their knowledge of reading, writing and math through building and caring for our classroom mini garden. My students is able to practice the General Learners Outcome (GLO) #1 Self -Directed Learner by taking responsibility of one's own learning with caring for their plants (such as watering, giving sunlight and love) daily.
Also, able to strengthen their writing skills by using complete sentences in their daily plant observation book tracking over a period of time of the changes of growth (from the seed stage to the plant stages). My students were able to increase their math skills using real life application skills by adjusting / measuring the water and sunlight given to their plants daily.”

Funded Oct 12, 2024Thank you for the positive impact that you have made on my students in helping them stay focused on their work assignments/task for longer periods of time. My students able to still have movement breaks while working on assignments that helped increase their learning opportunities and strengthen in their reading, writing and math skills. These flexible seating provided comfort when learning some new and practicing academic skills.
My students sends out their gratitude and appreciation for your kindness towards our classroom in providing different flexible seating that created a space that makes it easier to learn in to reach their daily learning targets and general learners outcome of being response for their learning, working together by helping others and an using a higher level of thinking. Flexible seating helped my students feel safe and secure in a positive, calm and homey environment that encouraged them to make new learning connections with their prior knowledge and they were able to excel in their academics with having a growth mindset.”

Readers are Leaders
Funded Oct 6, 2024We are grateful for your support and positive impact our students academic learning environment and growth. The are excited that they have an opportunity daily to works toward academic excellence with having multiple opportunities to read at their appropriate grade level. The student are engaging and able to make connections with prior knowledge to the book they are reading. They are able to practice their reading comprehension skills at their own pace in which it builds their confidence of become fluent readers.
Also, they are able to practice their daily learning target and general learners outcome of being a self -redirect learner, community contributors, complex thinker, effective communicators and so forth. My students reading levels and vocabulary has increased. We are thankful for giving to our students in helping them to become leaders or examples for others.”

Funded Sep 5, 2024My students are absolutely making great gains with the books that was provided for the classroom's mini library. The reading consistency of my students have increased from quarter 1 to quarter 2. It is exciting to be able to be apart of the learning and growing process of my students by giving them multiple opportunities to practice reading, learning new vocabulary words and strengthening my students speech.
My students are able to rotate through the mini library station daily. The students are able to read in a smaller group setting using flexible seating such as the bean bags to encourage students to practice reading. Also, it affords the students with opportunities to making connections with the book to their self, compare it to other books they read and compare it to what is going on in the world.
Thank you for the positive impact the mini library continuously have on my students daily academic growth and they are able to take reading beyond the classroom.”
