Cricut Swag!
Funded Mar 22, 2024This project was by far one of my favorites! I have spent a lot of time learning, watching and experimenting with our new cricut machine! This summer, I am going to be trying even more projects so that my incoming students can enjoy the machine as well. My students loved watching the process of designing on the computer and it turning into a real life project. I was able to gift my students some personalized items for their 5th grade graduation. I hope they will remember this year for a very long time! Thank you! :)”

Supplies for Ms. S.'s Class!
Funded Apr 6, 2023Because of your donations to this project, we were able to start this school year off nice and organized! We are currently using our new folders to bring all of our papers to and from home. This is so helpful because they are plastic! Many of the other resources that were donated including the label maker, labels and file folders has helped keep our class organized for math centers. My students LOVE having extra snacks laying around so they can eat a little something when they are hungry! Thank you again, it is much appreciated!”

With this project we will be able to purchase new math centers, games and activities so that we can enjoy 5th grade math! We are so excited. Again, thank you for supporting our class and for donating to our project. We couldn't do this without you!”

Funded May 9, 2023Thank you for helping us get new supplies and helping get us to stay organized! For math centers, we started using headphones for technology time, folders to keep our work in, pocket charts so we know which center to go to and envelopes to keep our math games organized. When working independently, we already started using privacy boards to keep us from becoming distracted. We love seeing our beautiful classroom environment and can't wait to put up new bulletin board paper and border to brighten up our classroom walls. All of these supplies make our classroom a better learning environment and we are so thankful!”

Funded May 9, 2023Thank you so much for your generosity donating to our project! The snacks and prizes are such a huge hit in our classroom! We now see our students more motivated, engaged in their learning and most of all they are having fun :) The smiles on their faces seeing the delivery boxes and even seeing what was inside was unforgettable. Part of this project also goes towards end of the year gifts for our class. I can't wait to assemble their goodie bags and see their reaction at the end of the year when they receive their gifts. Thank you!”

Funded Jan 10, 2023Our class was so excited to see new boxes of items for our classroom when they were delivered! My students love learning in a clean environment and are always looking forward to vacuuming our carpet at the end of the day. My students are chosen at random to be the "helper of the week" each week, and they love cleaning as one of their daily tasks! Aside from our classroom vacuum, my students loved having a variety of snacks to choose from when participating in academic after school programs. Snack time is always very popular! Lastly, our prize box has never looked better thanks to you and my class LOVES earning tickets to trade in for new prizes at the end of each week. We can not thank you enough! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!”

Funded Mar 1, 2019Thank you for bringing this project to life! Bringing more technology into my classroom has allowed me to brighten the lives of my children while I prepare them for the future. As we know, technology is our present and our future. Without the necessary skills and access to technology, our young ones will fall behind in today's changing world. I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations to my classroom Chromebook project. My students are going to use these devices to access online math programs to increase their fluency skills. They will also have access to our online reading program that gives students the opportunity to read books on their individual level. This gives my special education students access to programs that are differentiated which will boost their levels of confidence. I cannot wait to see the looks on their faces when the delivery comes :) Again, thank you so much, we are so appreciative!”

Funded Jul 22, 2018I can't even to begin to explain how excited my students were to see all of the packages delivered to our classroom. Since the beginning of the school year, I have had at least two or three requests per day from my students asking if they can sit in our "Cozy Corner" filled with bean bag chairs and comfortable pillows. This area has been a great addition to our classroom environment. My students love the concept of having flexible seating arrangements, there are wobble cushions for students who have difficulties staying seated, sensory bands to keep fidgety feet in place and balance balls for comfort and concentration. My students also love having brand new school supplies! They are excited to be able to use new dry erase markers, glue sticks and colored pencils. This project was a HUGE success and it couldn't have been made possible without you! Again, we are so grateful and hope to have a wonderful 2018-2019 school year. THANK YOU! :)”

Funded Mar 27, 2018Our students can not thank you all enough for your generous donations! The addition of 4 new iPads to our classroom was so exciting for everyone. These iPads reached the hands of 55 students of mine, amazing!
In our classroom, we use technology everyday. Through the use of the iPads, my students were able to access math, science and reading websites/apps. The iPads were used this past school year during learning centers/stations, project research time, and were also used as incentives and rewards (kids love technology!). One specific incentive that my students love is an app called Prodigy Math. Prodigy Math allows students to play against each other in the classroom while solving math problems!
Gaining access to more technology, my students were able to engage in math programs that sparked their interest in remembering their multiplication and division facts. My students were also able to access hundreds of books online in which were geared towards individual interests and reading levels.
Thank you so much for supporting both me and my students!”
