Launching STEM Club; Need Monitors To Support Low-Income Students’ Participation.
Funded Feb 5, 2025On behalf of our students and the entire school community, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donation to our STEM project. Thanks to your support, we were able to provide gaming monitors for our very first Esports Club, opening the door to incredible opportunities for students from low-income backgrounds. This club is more than just gaming—it’s a gateway for our students to explore the vast world of STEM, game design, and the growing career opportunities in the gaming industry. Your contribution is helping them develop technical skills, teamwork, and creativity, while also showing them that their passion for gaming can lead to a promising future.
Because of your kindness, our students now have the resources to realize their potential and take their first steps into a world that was previously out of reach. Your generosity is not just providing equipment; it’s inspiring dreams.
Thank you for believing in our students and for making a difference in their lives. We truly appreciate your support!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Johnson

Funded May 6, 2022Thank you for supporting me with this endeavor. The virtual conference was absolutely engaging. There were so many different speakers and events to attend. I learned about several different technology integration techniques that can be used in my everyday work. I made friends with fellow educators with similar interests and the virtual challenges were so much fun .
The highlight of this event for me was listening to all of the speakers. They each had their own take on how to elevate teaching and learning using different facets of technology. Another one of the highlights was being able to access , replay, and save resources from each of the events that I attended. One specific strategy that I learned about was called Study Casts. Study casts involved having students curate and organize content, to create a podcast. All of the information that students would gather, specifically focus on content taught in class. The students will learn empathy, collaboration, and design techniques to produce a product that is meaningful to them and to their listeners. I love the fact that students would generate all of the information, with some guidance from the teacher. Learning how to accept feedback from their peers, and their teacher is paramount. Applying the use of rubrics will help students stay on track. The best part about this lesson is that students can use this skill outside of school to create podcasts of their own. Podcasting is very popular now amongst the teenagers.”
