Students with Autism often are visual and kinesthetic learners. The materials I am requesting will help them learn the letters, phonics, and develop writing skills with visual supports. My students love playing with playdough and stamping letters on paper. Some of the students like to stamp letters on playdough and trace it over using their fingers. Most of my students are also working on fine motor skills and writing skills as well. They are developing tripod grips or building little muscles to hold writing utensils. But their love of writing cannot stop them from anything!
My students are ready to learn and develop their reading and writing skills with the great resources that are requested.
