Let's Get Writing and Reading
Funded Dec 1, 2021My classroom has flourished since receiving your donated items. The students love the binders and always say "Binders out!" as we get ready to write. Their attention and writing has improved with the addition of the slant boards. The students are sitting up as they write and paying attention to their letters.
My classroom has become so much more organized with the addition of the bins. We were able to make personal libraries for each student of the books they have written and made over the course of the year. It is a beautiful rainbow library that the kids adore.
Your donation has made a difference in my classroom and I am very appreciative of it. My children love the bins- now their personal libraries- and the binders/slant boards. Thank you so much.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Jayne

Funded Sep 27, 2021My students are thriving the environment that I was able to build with your help. They have a clam place to rest when the bustle of the classroom gets too overwhelming. They have sensory toys to keep them focused during instruction, and the water beads and stress balls are a great way to keep their busy hands occupied so they can focus on the instruction. The students love the rocket tent and use it for imaginative play (just now two of my students took a trip to the moon!) or as a place to cool down when the classroom gets too overwhelming. This is a lifesaver at times with the students who have sensory impairments become overwhelmed. The floor tiles are a hit! We use them every day to learn Social Emotional Learning such as being a "space saver" instead of a "space invader". We jump and play on them at recess. We learn to count by jumping from tile to tile. It is an amazing tool that the kids love!
My class is also a warm, fun, organized environment thanks to your help. My children are not distracted by lot of papers around the environment and I am able to seamlessly transition from lesson to lesson by staying organized. My students and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Jayne
