Help My Scholars Soar!
Funded Nov 29, 2022My students and I would like to thank you for the bottom of our hearts for your generous donations. With your help, we were able to fully fund our "Help My Scholars Soar" project, securing important technology and teaching materials that will allow us to improve literacy in fun and engaging ways! They were so excited when I shared the news with them!
For my students, the most important thing for them is to constantly be exposed to English in a variety of ways addressing the four modalities of language learning - speaking, listening, reading, and writing. My job is to make it as fun and engaging as possible, while ensuring that they are learning and meeting their various language acquisition needs. By having access to technology with iPads, and fun literacy resources purchased on TPT (a valuable resource created for and by teachers!), I am able to create differentiated learning experiences geared specifically to my students' individual language learning needs.
Again, I can't express to you enough how much your kind donation has impacted the lives of my students. Because of your generosity, my students have a renewed sense of determination and are excited to learn each and every day. They push themselves and each other to be better readers, writers, and people. As an educator, I can't ask for much more than that.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Ottley

Funded Feb 7, 2017I would like to take the opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart for funding our Look, Listen, and Learn project. When I revealed our new materials to my students, their faces lit up and they jumped for joy! They were so excited and eager to start using them.
For my students, the most important thing for them is to constantly be exposed to English in a variety of ways. My job is to make it as engaging as possible, while ensuring that they are learning. With the help of the listening center and the audio activities, as well as the Sight Word Bingo game and the other materials, I was able to create differentiated learning experiences geared specifically to my students' individual needs. As a result, many of my students - even the ones who were struggling the most- have made significant academic progress and have even moved up reading levels! For that, I am ever grateful.
Again, I can't express to you enough how much your kind donation has impacted the lives of my students.
